    The Commuter...

    Liam Neeson
    A man with a past
    In a difficult position
A bad person wants him to do a bad thing
    Threatens his family

You can guess the rest and some of it is utterly ridiculous but it delivers exactly what you expect and is mercifully short.

    Journey into fear 1975

A film with Sam Waterston, Ian Mc Shane, Denis Price, Shelly Winters, Donald Pleasence, Yvette Mimieux and Stanley Holloway. I can't believe what I've just seen, Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy shouting at the screen. Amazed any of these actors ever worked again.

    Atlas on Netflix. Absolutely shite.

Also, the latest Planet of the Apes. Left the cinema about 30 minutes into it.

I thought the new planet of the apes was pretty decent tbh maybe you should try longer than 30mins

    Renegades - amazon prime.

The worst geriatric cast, screenplay and acting I have ever come across.

The plot is the usual old man killed by gangsters his old mates get together and..................that is all I could bear.

Watch out for the platypus female detective and some 80 year old hag as the met police super.

It would be unfair to call ‘The Dead Don’t Hurt’ a totally rubbish film, but I’m going to do it anyway. This is a long, slow film. Long. And slow. It may appear to be a western, but the genre is actually ‘slightly nuts French woman having a terrible time’, and if you’ve seen any of the other films in that well worn genre, you will know that is a red flag. Annoyingly, what story there is happens out of sequence, which somehow doesn’t make it any more interesting. I could tell you what actually happens in a minute or two, but here it’s stretched out like a piece of chewing gum pulled between your fingers until it snaps, or maybe just sags into your lap and sticks to your clothes. When we left the cinema I had to ask if it was still June. The dead don’t hurt, yet my arse still does.

Mortal Engines - how it gets a 6.1 on IMDB I do not know !

I thought with Peter Jackson in the mix it would be at least ok. It’s not.

Plot, characters, dialogue - all awful.

    avoid.
