I'm sure that the person to hopefully answer your question would be John Bentley (TheTigerUK) as he was the gentleman that built it?
The stiff bezel would be a simple fix.
John's 7548 and SKX007 Tuna mods (amongst other of course) are legendary.
Just wondering if anyone could give me a guide on price for this please?
I’ve used the search function and seen these priced at around £300.00, not sure on this one though?
The Original Seiko used for the mod was bought from the forum. The 7548 did have its fair share of marks and scratches to begin with, but as most of the case was machined away any scratches and marks are only visible on the bezel and case back.
I’ve never actually worn it so the shroud is unmarked, it has a sapphire crystal fitted but the bezel is stiff to turn. A new gasket was fitted, maybe it just needs a little silicone grease? Seiko strap is as stiff as a board.
Any idea please?
TIA Pete.

It sounds as if the bezel needs a good clean.
A stiff bezel could be caused by several things. The wrong gasket. Dirt collecting under the bezel. A slightly misaligned shroud. A worn click ball. Even a combination of the above. It's a 7548 so unless modified, it will have a click ball for the bezel.
