Got to admit, I have looked at your J09 several times :)

It gets an occasional Sunday afternoon on the wrist while I've got my feet-up, just to keep the movement flexing, but I'm scared of marking it, so that's it. One of these days it'll finds its way on C24.

If people saw these watches in the metal, I suspect they'd have a fair few more fans!

Bracelet finally arrived for the Clemence. Fantastic finish at the price point. That's my colourful dial box ticked

    INCOMING

Arriving within the next week or so.

I have gone all things Breitling of late. Nothing from the absolute modern era.. but after my cull I will be down to 3 x Breitling and my Mazzuoli Manometro. Plus a GShock for work.
And that's more or less me.

    Hugely excited about this one...

B1's are cracking watches - I had got one of the last B1's to be sold (years after they were discontinued) in grey, and regret selling it. Enjoy, and don't make the same mistake I made..

Burgundy is fairly muted, the gilt is also less “in your face” than press pics. Size is basically identical to normal BB58 (great), t-clasp is very useful although the operation is less intuitive than just about any other micro-adjust I’ve had.
    Impressed so far!

Loving the look of that. Do the bracelet's always look 'gappy' ? Some I've seen pictures I've seen do, wondered if they're made that way?
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Interesting watch! Any thoughts/observations? How long did it take to make? And some better pictures please. How do you feel about the aluminium construction?

Héron Mariner arrived today from Kickstarter. A very wearable 39mm, this is the “Dutchman” variant, which apparently only two of us chose and won’t be made available to the public. Very pleased with the hardened steel (1200 HV apparently) bracelet/case and the on the fly adjustment in the clasp.

Cheers, I think that they're the coolest super-quartz / analog digi combo around.

I am not sure... I will have more info for you on Wednesday mate. It's a no quibble return if I don't want it. I didn't mess around looking at it at a storefront as it's in a sale and the price can revert to full whilst messing around so I nailed it at 30 percent off.

I have had a Breitling before previously with the similar bracelet and it didn't have daylight issues. If that's any help?

Very nice! Is it the green bezel that makes it the 'Dutchman' variant? I've been eyeing up the caribbean blue variant.

Tsuyosa small seconds arrived this morning. I love the look but I’m wavering over the size. It wears very small compared to my usual fare although that seems to be ‘the fashion’ now so I’m going to persevere for a while.

This Panerai 557 arrived yesterday and I’m super happy with it. My first new watch since I bought a Tudor Blackbay Black ETA back in November 2015!!

  28. #20928

Have been following these on C24 for ages. Then came across a WC auction with 4 minutes left on the clock and made a snap decision that I hope not to regret. Should be with me by Friday, all being well.

That's a cracker, I've never tried a destro model (or a 47mm) but that looks great.

I had set it by accident (or it was already set hahahaha.. I have no idea) and the alarm went off next to me mate.. and I was like:
"Blooming heck... what on earth is that?!!"

When you don't expect a watch to even have the alarm set... and it makes the noise that this thing makes... you wake up! :)

Thank you! Regarding the time to receive the watch, I put my name down in December when E.C.Anderson announced the two new models. The length of time may have changed as they get into the production process. The watch is excellent, keeps good time is light, legible and is something completely fresh from a design standpoint. Highly recommend it. As for more pictures….damn you Tapatalk

    Edit now with pics

Just arrived yesterday... a Limited Edition of 250 (quite limited I guess in an industry where they'll number up to 10,000,000 pieces and call it LE). LMAO. Nice little touch with the carbon dial, setting it apart from others.
The crocodile / alligator strap however needs to go. I think they're a great man watch, but always felt that them being finished off with this kind of strap doesn't do the watch justice.

Pics showing speckles that aren't even visible to the naked eye. My phone is twinned with the Hubble Telescope. It's pretty much mint.

It's lost just 2 second in 24 hours.

That's my last incomer for a while (so he says). I have re-arranged just about my whole collection of late and reduced to down to five pieces plus a work Casio. I was up to maybe 20 odd a couple of years ago.. including some lovely stuff that I just didn't wear, sadly.

I've had a Monaco before.. after much longing for one.. and had to return it because the minute hand wasn't keeping up with others. Had it returned back to me as 'no issues now', and it was just the same. That was probably about six years ago. So it feels good to have one.
I daren't even look at the Abstinence thread right now, but to be fair I have moved pieces out before bringing in. Does that count? ;)

    Marmite one.
Every complaint about this that ive seen online so far is what makes it appealing to me.
I wanted a really low key quartz watch to take on a road trip across USA and this is about as under the radar (fnar) as you can get.

Been wanting to try an integrated bracelet steel sports for some time now. With the holy trinity being out of my price range, this was always high on my list, especially as they are now readily available. Only hard part was deciding between blue and green. Think i went with the right one. The dial is mesmerising the way the light plays over it. Had to say goodbye to my GO to get it, but absolutely blown away.
