Just watched Forest / Chelsea and can only say two teams in truth with a fag paper between them IMO the only redeeming feature of this season is Cole Palmer without whom we would be starring relegation face on
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
There’s a good team in there trying to break through. Just need a better keeper - Petrovic is good but not domineering enough, a new CB to replace Silva, a new Defensive Midfielder - Caicedo still rubbish and Jackson to regain his confidence and be less of a lightweight.
Gusto looks quality, keep James fit, get rid of Sterling and keep hold of Gallagher

I’m fully expecting a comfortable win for Ten Hag and United 2.0 today.
They are a fabulous team and have amazing togetherness.
St Marcus of Rashford is back and chomping at the bit to continue his stunning goal scoring feats this season . “Safe Hands” Onana should be able to add to his many clean sheets and claim the Golden Gloves award .Kobbie Mainoo will cement himself as the best midfielder to draw breath and Ten Hag will show why he’s not only the best manager in ( just outside) Manchester, but the whole footballing world .
Come on you Red Devils.
The absolute state of that United line up! This is a chance for Arsenal to avenge the 8-2.
Nothing to see here guys, the season is over.
City won the PL, Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa got the CL positions and Luton, Burnley and Sheffield Utd went down.
Wonder how Sky and TNT will sell next Sunday’s non event.
On a personal note, Everton got to 48 points on the pitch and 40 after the PL had their pound of flesh. Under the circumstances I’ll take that.
Oh, and City won the FA Cup.

Has Casemiro decided to retire during the match?
The old adage about players always try doesn’t seem to apply to Casemiro.
Seems like Harry Kane may be a risk for the Euros as he needs back surgery.

Really poor performance from Arsenal but will take the 3 points. We really struggled

As a United fan, it was disappointing today when they walked off after the match and almost seemed pleased with themselves as they only lost 1-0.
Shambles at the moment.
Looking forward to winning the FA Cup and moving on to next season.
Was it due to picking up a Domino's Pizza "Introducing our new 'Harry Kane Trophy Pizza'.

Yep, we’ll have the likes of Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Malacia, Mount back from injuries for the start of the season in August, then they’ll be out again from September to May 2025. Still, van der Beek will be back from loan so we should be covered.
They’ll be a few more seasons in the wilderness yet.

I heard this morning that Burnley only won five games this season. Three of those were against other teams that have been relegated and one against Brentford who had ten men for 80 minutes.
Their recruitment in recent years has been abysmal.
Antony - terrible. As one-footed as Almiron but nowhere near as likeable. Stinking attitude and questionable personal life. A quitter and whinger.
Varane - has only made 58 starts in three years. Everyone knew he was crocked before he signed so who signed-off that transfer. On massive wages too.
Casemiro - too old, too slow and no heart. Oh and on massive wages.
Hoyland - just too young and inexperienced to lead the line. Not his fault, he shouldn't have been signed to be the number one striker. Has potential.
Pogba - say no more.
Onana - see Pogba.
And on, and on.
Evans is probably the best recent signing!
Otherwise Fernandes and Dalot are good players. I think Hojlund will come good, but not with the way things are going with Rashford, Antony and Garnacho. Perhaps there was a time when United planned a forward line of Sancho, Greenwood and Rashford.
Also liked Cavani during his short stint.
Jury is out with Martinez and Mount, potentially okay, but their injury records are appalling.
The worst? Let me think: Antony, Pogba, Sancho, van de Beek, Depay, Martial, Di Maria, Lukaku, Malacia, Schneiderlin, Sanchez, Wan-Bissaka? The list goes on.

Its all about getting the result at this time of the year - as a utd fan was nice to see us set up and pay some respect to the opposition instead of blindly believeing we can just turn up and play, I still dont see city dropping points but kudos to Arsenal theyve been great this season the signing of rice has been exceptional releasing Odegarrd and the form of Trossard have been massive step ups
Womens football is where its at - I thoroughly enjoyed watching the womens team cruise past spurs at Wembley yesterday
As for the mens team - all the signings in recent years have been shirt sellers or panic buys - Im so far detached from the team bar the youngsters who you have to give time too
I will caveat all of this that I am impressed by the stuff Ratcliffe has done - the team that he has put together to rebuild the club top to bottom is a massive step forwards - change carrington, rebuild/move to a new ground, no huge contracts, transfer approach based on the clubs ethos not the manager, etc etc will take time but for me them signings are far more important than any marquee player acquisition
Want Liverpool to win tonight, to give Spurs something to fight for tomorrow.
Here’s my fantasy end to the season, Liverpool win tonight, Spurs beat City tomorrow, Arsenal win the PL and Villa beat Palace on Sunday to get the 4th CL slot.
Won’t happen, but one can dream and even happy to see the mighty Everton beaten by Arsenal if it makes the above happen.
What a crazy, barmy, brilliant game. Premier League at its best
Great watch, could have been 8-8 in the end.

Over to you, Spurs.
Hopefully Grealish starts.
"A man of little significance"
Whichever way this goes , City have far exceeded my expectations this season . After last seasons exertions , to still be there at the business end of the campaign is breathtaking .
The smallest squad in the PL and having lost a number of experienced pros would usually mean a tough long haul and not much chance of silverware but here we are .
Chequebook Pep and his mercenaries have overachieved this year .

It’s the smallest squad through choice.
Take Liverpool for example we have the likes of Rhys Williams who hasn’t played a game Bobby Clarke who’s played come on a handful of times for 5 mins.
All teams can easily leave these players out the squad lists.
Pep saying this morning City’s success is not built on money is laughable.

Gonna be interesting this evening but I dont see past city despite the recent history at the lane - spurs were set up to play counter attacking under conte and nuno plus Harry Kane ran the city CBs ragged, Ange plays wide open front foot football which will suit city imo and I fancy a 3-1 away win
I think Villa making it to fourth (and hopefully staying there) is a significantly more impressive achievement. But then I know you're trolling.
"A man of little significance"
Lost Mahrez, Gundogan and Laporte ( who was a back up player ).
Signed Doku, Gvardiol, Nunes, Kovacic.
They’re stronger than last season if anything.

No nowhere near as laughable.
If you read the full transcript from Klopp he’s saying because of the fan base. You can be 7000 miles away and be with a Liverpool fan.
Pep the drug cheat claiming City’s wins aren’t down to money is Tim Sherwood level of deftness.
- 54 charges of failure to provide accurate financial records
- 14 charges of failing to disclose player and manager payments
- 5 failures to comply with Uefas financial rules
- 7 breaches of premier league PSR rules
- 35 charges to failure to comply with premier league financial requests
Actually maybe it isn’t about money, City don’t seem to recognise it anyway.

As a lifelong Tottenham fan I just hope the lads put on a performance for the ages tonight. COYS!
