Just had a rather pleasant coffee with a forum member and came away with this.
I am rather pleased with it.
Love the look of these.
Unsolicited strap suggestion #2 - were it me I'd go two-part so as not to add any more height to a big watch, and try and match the tone -
Or if you're feeling bold:
Cheers for the suggestions Gents
I am going through the strap boxes now
I am feeling the need for a new flat vent strap though…
Edit
Found a uncle Seiko flat vent.
Not sure
It’s a bit thin and short

My latest Seiko acquisition and its a beauty thank you to Oliver for selling to me.
Ordered back in October, but worth the wait. Production issue with the oyster style bracelets so will come in about 6 weeks, but they included a free NATO in the meantime.
Really hard to capture the colour, in various light it goes from pale mango to darker amber and almost copper.
Easy to read, great lume and at 37.5 x 9.25mm it's a sweet spot for my skinny wrists.
And unexpected purchase:
But really enjoying it!
First proper incoming for around 2 years now (moonswatches, blancpain x and stars wars watches excluded).
Fed up playing Rolex games and given up on getting a Pepsi on jubilee so decided to scratch the Santos itch and blow the watch fund. Tried the green dial on at the airport last year and loved it. Really like the new dual time just released at Watches and Wonders so this may be a stop gap.
Big thank you to Alex and Michael @ Watches of Whitby for a seamless transaction. Absolute pleasure to deal with.
Difficult watch to photograph and do the green dial any justice, plus my photograph skills are rubbish but quick snap. Will try and do a proper write up when I have more time.
The bracelet and quick release system is absolute genius, can remove links with no tools or risk of damage/scratching lugs. Even easier to use than system on my PAM 312.
Excuse finger prints…. The bezel isn’t actually scratched, watch is mint.

Arrived a couple of weeks ago but first chance I've had to wear it. I've always been a Moser admirer so finally decided to pull the trigger. It's real interesting intersection between a dressy watch and a sports watch.
My first ever Panerai, felt I had to try one at some point even though it's bigger than my current preference for c40mm. I'm pleasantly surprised how well it wears and really like its simplicity.
Two arrivals in this last couple of weeks...
Ironically... both are manual wind pieces, not even auto. Probably not by accident too.
Having a bit of a cull of things that I don't wear, and trying to streamline down now to absolute keepers.
Cosmonaute 809 circal 1965
and Heuer Reference 12.
Have a great weekend all.
I have one of these arriving tomorrow (or Tuesday) I have never really been into Casio even though if I was off to paddle the Amazon River in a canoe I would choose a Casio of some description but I do like these full metal models, this will be three I own.
Not sure whether too leave as is with the negative dial or swap the positive out of my beater into it.
No joy with my WTB on here but thankfully a US member on Watchuseek got in touch on that platform and I've finally scratched this itch without paying the crazy retail price.
My Orient Mako 20th Anniversary Limited Edition arrived from Japan this morning. Very pleased with it

Thank you kindly.
This GMW-B5000RD-4ER arrived today, I do like these all metal Casio's, I like the colour in the metal and the negative display suits it so it will stay. Really whats not to like on these models, super accurate, 20BAR water resistant and many other features at a very reasonable price.
The one on the left has a barrelled matt finish which looks a little like Titanium and is my beater and the one on the right is my shiny one which when I wear tends to get more comments than any others I wear.
Arrived just now. It's cool but I picked up a Seiko SJE093 last week and this is only a bit cheaper at RRP than the Seiko yet the Seiko is twice the watch from a quality perspective at the minimum so you'd have to really like the theme of this watch to pay RRP.
I got it pre owned for maybe 60% of RRP so I'm pleased at that price point.
The supplied CWC strap is crap so it's on a BluShark and I'll get a higher end Nato as well.
Interesting that the case is fully polished as per military specs - surely they'd have wanted matte cases to avoid flashes off the sun or underwater to attract predatory fish?
Popped into the Birmingham swatch shop and ended up buying the snoopy, just a off chance wander and zero queue bloody perfect experience just how it should be
Here it is with the other two same case omega I have, be a great holiday watch £270 happy purchase
I Sold my previous one a few months ago but regretted it ever since, Thank's to Chisholm Hunter this arrived yesterday and immediately put it on a Di Modell.
It's staying this time

Been eyeing this one for a while & been on the fence.
Managed to try one on recently (randomly in John Lewis Bluewater). Decided if I can get one cheap enough I'll go for it.
Was toying with some 'make offer's on eBay, when WatchNation offering it for £198 from the RRP £300. Yes I know Seiko are on discount often, but thought for that price why not, (plus an additional £4 cashback via Quidco.
Quick photos whilst I'll decide, very reflective & I want to get it in normal daylight to decide if it's readable. Also it needs a black nato for some contrast.
Initial thoughts, where's small, but god damn its reflective. Not usually a fan off day dates, but think this one looks good, lume isn't great (1st Seiko diver for me that's done that). Has some nice retro vibes, need the Nato on to decide if it's a keeper.
Though the pics show the bezel off, it isn't in real life think just the angle.
