I was in Cornwall last week and there are several roads that are private. Anyone know if they have the same level of council tax or if it’s a different scheme where you only pay a partial payment ?
West Lothian band G, £2,723 plus water & sewage to total £3,636.
Band D (3 bed semi South Derbyshire) £2,153 this year. Gone up 4.6%

Band D £2150 rural Shropshire. 3 bed detached bungalow. To be fair we have a pretty good bus service, and bin service. But the roads are a mess and I can’t remember the last time I saw a policeman in the village.
Interestingly Buck House is 1828 gbp and Windsor Castle is even more, reportedly 2365.16 gbp per year...that can´t be right...

£3467 council tax
£1100 water and sewage
That’s with council tax frozen this year
Big increase in the pipeline
I believe there is certainly some corporation tax applied to Buck House in addition to the CT calculated on the portion of the property the family use...taking the CT element in isolation it's been reported that 46 per cent of UK households will pay a higher amount than Buck House...all in it together
Made no mention of the armed forces... re the Crown you appear to be wrong,
