Plug fuse?
Hi all
I’ve got a lg oled cx65 from 2020
It’s still under richer sounds guarantee till 2026 hopefully
It’s just not turning on ?
Anyone know what’s the problem or had similar ?
Done all the normal stuff unplug Try in another socket etc
Normally a red light appears at the bottom in the middle below the screen
Plugged anything else in to the socket?
Edit..i see youve plugged it in elsewhere…sorry
Might be an internal power supply fuse. Contact R.S'ds
Factory reset ? I sorted my Sony out by following a YT video and giving it a factory reset.
It didn't take long to reconfigure afterwards.
Mine eats remote control batteries, could be that?
It'll be the capacitors on the power supply board popped, they will fit a new board rather than repair.
Yes, the screen went on my 4 year old Samsung about 6 months ago, rang them up, explained the situation, answered a few questions, 3/4 days later the set was picked up and then returned about a week later.
My set was collected by a company in Basingstoke, they then accessed and diagnosed the repair, it's then down to Richer Sounds to sanction either a repair or they offer a refund based on the age of the set.
All went like clockwork.
Brian.
Have constant problems with my lg's WiFi not working. Seems to be a common issue for certain models. Won't be buying LG again.
How do those TP Link Powerline devices work exactly as I have a very similar predicament where we’re having a media wall built on Monday and my tv and soundbar will have to be set up on WiFi although I’d prefer if I could hard wire? Can I just plug in a TP link powerline device and it’ll just pick up the WiFi and I can then plug Ethernet cables into those?

I've got an LG Oled TV a little older than yours. Some time back I read about LG TV's experiencing power boaerd failures I went online and found -through LG- a serial number checker
Mine was in the 'at risk' catagory and so, LG arranged for a local TV specialist to come out to my house. They changed the board and I've had no further issues.
Might be worth looking to see if your model/serial number is affected
Good Luck with whichever method gets your TV repaired

Could be you’re picking up Wi-Fi from another adapter, not the one under your desk. Are all your sockets on the same ring-main? I had a similar issue in my extension, until I realised that the extension sockets had their own circuit, so the adapter wasn’t connecting to the others via the house wiring. So the adapter under your desk might not be connected to the others if your scenario is the same as mine.
If it’s not that then try a different cable from computer to adapter. If it’s not that I imagine it’s a faulty adapter.
Okay, I've checked the adapter plugged into ,y router, and all the lights are on. I'e then checked the adapter that supports my house alarm panel via an ethernet cable, and all the lights are on plus the connection is working (which I assume verifies that I set the system up correctly). However, having checked the adapter under my desk all lights bar the ethernet light are on, so that's where the problem is.
I've unplugged it for now as it doesn't seem to improve my wi-fi speed but will try to work out what's going on when I have some time to do so.
Quick update RRC from brum (the firm richer sounds must use )
Came to mine this morning. They diagnosed a faulty power supply unit
So they have had to order one in. Said it will be 7 to 10 days.
