Just started and on the first one , not normally a fan watching series after the film but definitely hooked
Brilliant!

A great cast the guy playing the dysfunctional brother must be given credit for his performance just brilliant
And as a Liverpudlian the accents are pretty good which is a challenge.
Thoroughly enjoyable
Also just finished the first episode. Very good and thin kit will only get better.
Film was great, 1st episode didn’t disappoint either. Looking forward to watching the rest.
What channel is this to be viewed on ?
Cheers,
Ben

2 episodes in, thanks to this thread making me aware of its existence. Typical Guy Ritchie and very much enjoying it
Watched the first two yesterday, and ended up bingeing the rest this evening.
I thought Vinnie Jones was excellent. I enjoyed the nod to Snatch, and imagined a nod the the Fast Show's Ted and Ralph.
As an aside, Joely Richardson's voice really reminded me of someone else, but I couldn't place it. Any ideas?
Three episodes in and at best it’s ok typical Ritchie which is again ok over the length of a film but will probably stick with it
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
It’s basically the film stretched into 8 hours
Sorry, in my opinion you're wrong. Different writers to the film and after episode 2, three different directors, with different styles.
Granted, it does have similarities, but Ritchie wanted to make a second film and Netfix wanted it to be a series, the Studio won. So it had to be set up to work over multiple episodes
Personally I think it improves after Ritchie left the production
There are some great scenes coming up in future episodes, stick with it, I think you're in for a very good series
Added to my list - thanks!
My apologies, I thought you're comment was being negative about the series.
It was well filmed but trust me, the small part that I played in that was Bloody hard work in some very testing conditions
This time last year we had days of snow down at Badminton House and it was very cold

I am about 6 episodes in and so far it’s been excellent. Really is only a little similar to the movie and in my view much better.

4/5 episodes in and very much enjoying it. Love the work of Guy Richie.
Watched the whole lot over the week and enjoyed it a lot. Some nice nods to Richie’s other gangster films and the end, whilst predictable was fun.
Hoping for a second season.
The worst bit of the whole show is the watch that was given away…….::

Great fun, really enjoying it 4 episodes in.
Ive had this on my watch list but having really rated the film was a bit on the "will this be poo" fence.
This thread is reassuring so I'll give it a go.
Enjoyed the film as a bit of Richie malarkey but I started watching the series and it was just turgid, no snap and crackle.
I guess that is what happens when you stretch quite a thin story over eight hours.
Saw the first two episodes, won't revisit it.
Cheers,
Neil.
Now watched all episodes. Yes you could see the ending coming, but that didn’t detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable watch in my opinion. Seems set up for a further series as well, which I’d certainly welcome.
Really enjoyed the whole thing.
I couldn't get Bricktop out of my head with Collins.
Anyone remember Giancarlo Esposito in Bakersfield PD? That's a series which deserves a repeat.
I hadn't realised he was such a busy actor, must watch Usual Suspects again.
Finished it in the early hours of this morning. Really enjoyed it and seems nicely set up for a sequel.
A very young Giancarlo Esposito was also in Trading Places and in the recent Mandalorian series.
Now onto episode five, would rate as just ok. Found the movie much better.
On a side note, did I spot a Panerai on his Grace's wrist in episode four?

Just finished the series. Really enjoyed it. Lots of cool watches as well, I recall seeing a gold Cartier Santos, gold Patek Nautilus, FP Journe, Bremont, Panerai, Rolex, JLC Reverso.
Also the scene where Susie Glass is in her apartment and the burger gets sent up (episode 7 I think) is in this flat;

Watched no4 this morning and really like it, not brilliant but very watchable.
It’s ok I think. Richie’s formulae hasn’t changed in 25 years you could almost guess the script.
The stereotypical “ Londener, Scouser “ is a bit of a tired concept.
The forced scouse accent and the clothing is bizarre. Sergio Tachinni tracksuits haven’t been worn in Liverpool for 45 years.

^^This^^
I enjoyed the film but I found nothing to like here.
I laughed at the chicken dance scene and was hoping for more from Peter Serafinowicz, who at least is actually from Liverpool, but that didn't end well.
When the best character is Vinnie Jones' gamekeeper, it's time for bed.
That’s because Guy Richie hasn’t been up north for that long!
I enjoyed it as s bit of escapism even though it was the same as everything else he’s made, even down to getting his mate Vinny into it, but then why change a winning formula? It’s not like he’s ever going to be mentioned in the same breath as, say, Spielberg or Scorsese.
I've watched 3 episodes and can't be bothered with the rest. Very contrived plot. overdone, verbose script and just not that interesting.
I'm not sure how so many on this thread think it's 'excellent'.
Two episodes in,really enjoying it.
Just finished it, and enjoyed it. Will re-watch the film tomorrow

having really enjoyed the film; with a really strong cast and in particular Hugh Grant being as non Hugh Grant as I could ever imagine....... I went into this with some reservations.
it was watchable and well made in terms of budget, cast, balance of drama & humour etc, but a little bit too predictable and as others have suggested, a serialised version of the film.
I'd probably give it a 7/10 for a weekend binge; but no more. Clearly left wide open for a follow up too
.... also, thankfully miles better than the dreadful Gangs Of London which has a series 3 soon to drop
