Not sure of ref no, don’t know enough about them.
£7-8k?
Hi All
Today I've finally got round to sorting out stuff in the safe. Which of course includes watches!
The (not very good!) pictures below are of a watch I am 100% certain I bought from sales corner (but despite searching cannot find the sales post and have long since deleted the PM's).
I have never worn it because I was always frightened of damaging the lovely black coating. So I am pondering putting it on Sales Corner for someone else to enjoy but there begins the problem!
I genuinely know nothing about it, I'm not even sure of the model name. I'm pretty certain its a modification and the leather strap is aftermarket. So can anyone enlighten me on details and sensible valuation for sale?
Many thanks in advance.
P.S. More safe finds which have never seen the light of day may appear in Sales Corner in due course.

I’m sure I remember that watch being listed on sales corner. Think the seller was hhhh and it was around Jan / Feb 2017
Incredible memory! Found it!!

All I need to do now is decide whether to "love it or list it"!
That is a very good looking watch.
The PVD or DLC work (DLC unlikely if, as per the original ad, it is reversible) has been done very well, the filling of the tachy bezel numeration with grey (or white, but quite thin) is very nicely done.
No idea as to value. Sorry.
This is one of those valuations that genuinely falls between the people that do it (who charge a premium for their services over the cost of an uncustomised watch) and those that abhor the sacrilege of it and value it comfortably below the price of the original.
You could make up a host of different numbers and find a buyer at every one.
But here on TZ UK, the audience for such a custom job is very small.
You'd be better off selling elsewhere, to be honest.
But I think it's great.
So 79180’s seem to vary from £5.5k to around £9k. Yours has no bracelet, n recent service so - marks for that, pvd coated so + marks for that (depending on the buyers attraction to pvd)
I think better photos would help.
Id put it around mid 5 up to 6
Wow, much better.
That’s a very attractive watch imo, great condition.
Those latest photos are terrific and show a beautiful watch in what looks to be great condition.
That would be on the 'love' list for me.

A have to agree, those fresh pics make the fabulous even though I’m not a fan of black watches.
That said I would rather have a standard big block than a customised one.
Cheers,
Ben

That is amazingly good. Put it up for 3 grand and start dropping a hundred a week until it sells. It's a case of finding the right buyer. Pity the membership for new members is closed. The pond is drying up.
Costume jewellery. Ouch!!!
I really like it but think some of the estimates are a bit optimistic.
I think around the £2.5-3k mark is where I'd be pitching it.
After all if needs a service and the PVD will limit the buyer pool considerably
Very cool looking watch and if it ends up on SC I'd be interested
If the dlc can be reversed, as stated in the original ad' then that could tempt someone not keen on the dlc, perhaps.

If you can reverse the coating and put it on a oyster you’ll pull more for it
