I would not hesitate to use either Olivier - Olli. Or Duncan - the watch bloke, both members here.
They both have a wait list but both offer excellent service.
Both will be sympathetic to your requests.
Part sentimental story, part request for a recommendation…
I have recently inherited a few items from a family member. This includes some watches.
There are three in particular which I would like to have spruced up. I would like to wear them on occasion. They all run but I imagine they have been away in a box for 20+ years.
They are not particularly valuable in a monetary sense but are, of course, priceless to me. Any recommendations for a watchmaker who could service them?

Can you do a movement shot of the Avia? I may have one you could use for spares.
I’d second Olivier, he’s got a couple of my watches at the moment.
Please could somebody confirm Olivier's forum username. Struggling to search him. Many thanks.
From the depths!
I reached out to some watchmakers at the time around my original post, but couldn’t get anything sorted (mainly due to fully booked!).
Does anybody have any current recommendations for somebody who might be able to take this work on (service and refurbishment, times three).
Thanks so much.
For those watches Brendan. https://www.webwatchmaker.co.uk
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
PM me if interested, give me details of the watches and I’ll discuss price. I’m taking a limited amount if work on thesedays and avoiding certain jobs, but these look straightforward enough.
