My mates are definitely taking the Mickey .
One told me that Nunez and Hojlund had scored in the same set of matches .
They must think I was born yesterday
Feels like Villa and the Toon have been found out now. Will be interesting to see if either of them can step up again.

Hope both can, it's good to see different teams having a go

Villa were always 'so-so' on the road but their home record saw them get as high up as they did.
Tactically Emery left it too late to make changes- even in the 1at half when they were 2-0 up United were carving through the Villa midfield but just wasteful in final third - should have tightened it up much earlier IMHO.
Newcastle just playing badly. I know they've had injuries but the players still in the team aren't playing at their usual level either. They've now got only the FA cup to play for - if I was the owner I'd bring the new manager in ASAP so he has half a season to build his team and get the tactics implemented so they can start next season at full tilt
Eddie Howe has a few injuries, sitting in 8th - under no pressure, hailed as a genius
Eric ten hag, many more injuries, sitting in 6th, just a matter of time before big Jim sacks him
Funny old game
I suspect a team nobody wants to play on current form is Bournemouth. They've won 6 of the last 7 and the one they didn't win was an injury time equaliser by Villa.
There's a vocal minority on KUMB about wanting Moyes gone. Probably the same ones who phone up TalkSport. Can't see it myself nor can many other supporters.
Also they should be careful what they wish for as we have had some right shockers in the past including "big name" Pellegrini who was awful.
Thankfully the owners got Moyes back again after his departure.
Cheers,
Neil.
If United do manage to get it together the next couple of seasons coupled with the reemergence of Arsenal and Newcastle / spurs in the mix the prem will a fantastic watch.
A proper top 6 all going for the league would
be superb.

The injury to Antonio seems to have been a bit of a blessing as it's forced Moyes away from his Plan A tactic of trying to hit the centre forward and hope it sticks long enough for him to bring the midfield into play... not having anyone who can do that job has meant he can play Paqueta, Bowen and Kudus in a far more fluid way and far more to their strengths.
Ultimately West Ham fans want exciting, flowing, attacking football but also a decent league position and bit of silverware would be nice... We haven't really had the former for quite a while but Moyes has delivered the latter. We'd be crazy not to renew his contact in the summer (ideally well before).
Liverpool had 21 injuries last season in the first 23 games.
Van Dijk, Konate, Matip, Gomez, Robertson all out at one point.
We were playing 5/6th choice centre backs.
In midfield Keita, Jota, jones, ox, Diaz, were all injured for over 13 games in those first 20 games.
That’s football.

Anyone watching on Amazon Prime - the resolution is terrible for me ...

What the heck has happened to the Man City defence? They look really panicky.
Chelsea sneaked through that one. Nice pen.

Anyone have a clue how the hand ball rule is implemented these days, or does it just depend on which teams are playing?
Bernado. Little dancer !

City’s first half summed up most of their season. Dominated possession, created loads of chances and took none then conceded from poor defending.
Don’t see a City title this season myself.
Grealish is horrendous. Don’t understand how he even gets a game for City.
Slow slow, chop back on the right foot, repeat for 90 mins.
Awful.

At first glance I agreed with you. And that’s from a City fan. But I’ve seen so many games when his possession of the ball and exactly that slowing down has frustrated opponents and also given City control of phases of the game when we can look ragged. Everyone saying Doku more exciting but he ends up losing possession too frequently

He does need to drive forward more though otherwise Doku will get the nod over him more and more. He’s been a frustrating watch this season for me. Last season he was superb but he’s definitely gone backwards this season. That said he takes two or more defenders with him when he’s on the ball that it opens up space elsewhere on the pitch.
I’ve just looked his stats are poor too ?
Goal every 8 games, assist every 6.5.
Awful player no wonder Pep got Doku in.
First time I’ve ever concentrated on watching him properly. I went to match last night with family and 2nd half he was on my side. I’ve heard people mention he does the same thing over and over but actually seeing him just slow slow cut back right was painful viewing.

2nd out of play goal given against Arsenal this season lol
Do we think Arsenal fans will stop whining about the goal at Newcastle now that the same thing has happened at their own ground?
