I decide on the day.
I will only venture to the pub and back so no point wearing anything too flash.
Something for timing the Turkey might be an idea!
Edit it’s going to be my Omega 165.024 on grey nato.
Who knows now what time piece will be on their wrist on the 25th?
Who leaves it to the morning of 25th & picks the watch depending on how they feel that morning?
Who is still trying to whittle it down from a possible list?
Who has a watch they always fall back on come special occasions / Christmas?
I've been thinking about what watch I'll probably wear & I think it will be this:
A long standing part of my humble collection & a favorite to be honest (obviously that is, very likely, subject to change).
Whatever you decide to wear, Happy Christmas & a Healthy & Prosperous New Year!

Learningtofly - It appears we joined Timefactors at near enough the same time, yet you have managed to post over 36,000 times more than me (just an observation) lovely watch by the way.
Never heard of it, looked it up and it looks nice.
No idea what I`ll wear for Christmas Day, as each year passes my enthusiasm for Christmas continues to diminish.......bah humbug!
Thinking about it, this could be a good choice
1967 Constellation, bought in 2014 as a fixer upper from an auction, finally got around to fixing it in December 2017 when I decided to sort it out as a Christmas present to myself. Watch was finished and complete a few days before Christmas, wore it Christmas Eve and the setting lever spring broke, which pissed me off greatly. After an evening's 'socialising' I decided to fix the watch before going to bed, dial side had to be stripped down, setting lever spring replaced, dial and hands refitted. Approx 1 hrs work, job got finished after midnight, watch was good to go for Christmas Day which pleased me greatly.
Haven't given it any thought, yet. Probably one of my two IWCs. I do make an effort for Dec 25th.
I only heard about, saw the watch because of posters here. Long live TZ. Just feels a little too special to me to wear as a daily, also has a fair amount of real estate, surface area, non sapphire crystal so too risky for me for the parental/ daily rough and tumble, amphibious stuff...really lovely thing though and for economy money.
Nice looking watch and back story you have there.
I’m planning to wear this for Christmas dinner, but on a grey strap to match the dial.
During the morning for slouching around though, it’ll probably be my Longines Heritage 1967 diver… as the red bezel gives off a Christmassy vibe.
I'll be wearing this one, so I can time the turkey to a 10th of a second.
For me it will be the fun and festive gold 'Blingmaster'. It always puts a smile on my face.

More than likely this, my late father in law's - he passed away 8yrs ago on the 27th Dec.
It’s a new watch day for me having taken receipt of this 76100.. I think this will remain on the wrist over the Christmas period.. I have a BB54 but the 76100 may well displace that watch and result in it being moved on..
I want to remain a one watch man if poss!

Took it out last night. It's not the one that I wear the most, and it's not the most expensive. However, it quite possibly is my favourite.

I usually change my watch every day, but I shall be wearing this from this evening until boxing day:
A
Yes, I traded it to them. It then sat with them for what seemed like forever, I kept looking at it thinking I’d made a mistake and then it disappeared. It originally came from ashford.com for an unbelievable Black Friday price so at least I made a profit when it went to Watchfinder.
Not so sure, haven't planned that far ahead!
Maybe my GMT Master would go well with the Christmas jumper!
In other Christmas news my friend was gifted this!

As I’m in charge of cooking this year - timing is all important, so probably will be wearing this to prepare dinner
“ Ford... you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.” HHGTTG
Probably this, in that exact setup. All day long :)
This one for me, as the green is very festive (to my eye, at least!).
I’m not sure there’s a good chance it’ll be my PAM321 as it rarely leaves my wrist lately. However I may go with something else. Maybe.

1603 silver dial Datejust or the PAM 512, depending on my mood

This one, always this one. Somewhat of a tradition…
Just back from a long overdue service.
Probably the custard.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Awaiting rescue from the MIL?
"Bite my shiny metal ass."
- Bender Bending Rodríguez
probably this one
merry Christmas.
I'll be wearing my 14K gold 1959 Hamilton "Bradford B"...
Maybe something with a date.
Or with a bezel.
Or neither.
I may be too lazy to change....
