Glad to have Fortis back on the wrist. Love its robust feel and clarity. A solid daily from now on I think.
Fun watch incoming - but I’m not allowed to see it until next Tuesday, even though I know what it is!
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

This new model from Prometheus arrived recently and I finally had some time to wear it.
Overall quality puts many of my more expensive watches to shame and the bracelet is a work of art.
Now that’s a thing of beauty

Normally these have a high mark up on eBay but I managed to get one at a decent price. Had one before and sold but wanted to get this version for a while as I think the white ‘Everest’ text adds a balance to the dial that was missing before when it was an embossed black as you could hardly see it. Anyway, quite happy with this (it’s the 36mm version).

Loving the features and vintage look.

About 40 years ago I had one of these:
I've just bought one of these as a sort of homage to it. Arrived this morning.
The annoying thing about the old one was that the second hand and the minute hand looked exactly the same.. they used the same LCD elements. But on this one only a second hand 'tip' is represented which solves that problem.
Arrived today, these are built so well, love the little touches and how the micro adjustment works on the bracelet. I think I will be changing the bracelet but just enjoying it now!!
H. Moser & Cie Streamliner collected from Harrods today after being on the waiting list a while. Its a lovely thing with stunning bracelet.

Another Hamilton and another that I've owned about 3 time's already. Fresh from a full service by Hamilton, definitely a keeper this time.

I picked this up a few weeks ago and honestly, haven't taken it off other than to wear my Garmin for exercise. Which surprises me as it was destined for very occasional wear when I'd normally go for a G-Shock. It arrived on bracelet, but now on a strap and it feels just right. So much so that I'm tempted to get the blue dial variant to go with it! The current version just appeals more to me than the original all-blasted version and it carries a good amount of weight given that it's titanium.
(Cameraphone makes it look like it wears larger than it actually does!
An unexpected incoming, but could not miss it - a first owner Universal Geneve Tri Compax ‘Eric Clapton’, with original box, papers, receipts etc.
Surreal

I picked up this 2004 Chopard MM from the forum a few weeks ago at a great price.
I had been looking for this model for several years, and have ordered a selection of tropic and rallye straps to suit the changing seasons.
I’m currently enjoying this look

A little Christmas pressie to myself, courtesy of my military pension kicking in - not enough to retire on but enough to get myself a little treat - always fancied this style of watch and first impressions are that it is lovely!
Have just arrived home and this was waiting for me.

I've been wanting to add a gold dress watch for a while as that's a gap in my collection but saw this on SC and thought it worth trying as it was different to anything I've previously had.
I thought it would probably be too big at 42mm as 38-40mm would be my preference but it wears well imo and first impressions are very positive, I like the simplicity of the dial, the blued hands, the graduated sub-dial, that it's not a mainstream brand and it's my first in-house 100hr movement.
I'm still looking for something in gold but in no rush as this will do the dress watch duties for a while at least.
I've not been wearing more than half of my watches recently and need to let a couple go but that's always a struggle compared to buying one maybe next year....

Wanted a quartz grab and go. Didn't realise until after I ordered that the company is based a few miles away from my home (Wallsend). Love it. The lume glows all night.
