Vulcain collab with Ocarat. Only 50 pieces
I like this:

I wonder if there is going to be a standard version as I prefer my longines at a realistic price.

I tried on the black dial yesterday at my local AD, really lovely looking thing. They had it in for another customer but let me take a quick look. Dial texture very visible in the light, looks more grey/brown than black … and seconds hand very bright blue. They’re a standard production run but the green dial is LE and therefore difficult to get your hands on to take a look before committing. I think I might get the black dial at some point. Nice heft to it and the bracelet very comfortable.

Not my cup of tea but they look not too bad.

Damasko have finally got round to reissuing an updated version of the DSub1 - now with their in-house movement, at €2,430. Must admit the murdered-out Damest-coated version is a very handsome thing:
This GMT diver in a Monnin case looks tempting @ £350.

The new Meraud Bonaire is a beautiful design and features a La Chaux-de-Fonds movement.

So Formex sell their 39mm Essence line of watches for £1,324 to £1,435. Not cheap for a three-hand micro-brand watch with a SW200-1 inside, but not crazy money by current standards (and they are COSC certified, and they have patents, etc).
Now they are kind enough to bring us the Baguette version, with diamond indices:
A snip at £4,000. Still, for that money you get eleven diamonds totalling a handsome 0.29 carats. That's 0.026 carats each. I'm not sure whether those categorise as gemstones, chippings or just sand.

Recentish release rather than new, the Baltic Hermetique looks rather a spiffy, novel take on the good ol' field/explorer watch...and those 3D lume blocks for numerals, cor...150 m WR in a watch case barely over 8 mm very, very impressive

49mm!!!!!!!!
How to spend €62,000 to look a knob.
Like the Brown too but I've become a sucker for off white, cream dials...Plus I've had several happy years experience living with one of their earlier models, the HMS 001 cream dial, lovely domed plexi crystal...a watch whose only minor flaws to my eyes was it's 50 m WR and lack of lume...mind you I managed to pick that one up for only about 200 gbp so zero complaints, still love it's design, stepped bezel and blued hands and it continues to run nicely despite a very modest movement...In fact it's a watch I've commented to my missus that if it had come with a screw down crown/ lume I'd not need another! It's as if the clever chaps at Baltic have heard me!
So in a nutshell one of these bad boys will be mine next year. Then I'm done, as it fits 'my tastes/brief/requirements perfectly, super svelte so easy wearing and for me far less likely to whack a door frame etc, plus ample WR for pool/beach life and those funky applied 3D lume bloc numerals I think are awesome.
review of the HMS 001 should anyone be interested,

New Prx bucherer version. Quite pricey
https://www.bucherer.com/uk/en/watch...398-895-9.html
Only £50 more than the normal Chrono, which is a similar premium to the previous Bucherer PRX. Not a fan of this version though… at all.
The new Longines 39mm Legend Diver in Blue.
39mm in one of these should make this an absolute cracker.

That is an especially ugly PRX. One thing that bothers me about the PRX is that you get essentially the same bracelet and same quality of case if you buy the quartz 3 hander for £300 or the auto chrono at £1700? I have the quartz 3 hander so it works for me but not quite sure I’d feel the same if I’d bought the chrono?
Is the auto PRX not unserviceable as well?
