That's good to know. My lot played Plymouth in the Championship last night and the game just flowed, the ref pretty much ignored anyone going down softly and waved play on. We also avoided one of those 15 minute VAR farces looking at whether a ball went over the dead ball line using a dodgy camera angle when the linesman was a few feet away.
What a goal that is by Arsenal for the 2-0. That's IMHO the best goal this season, beating Garnacho's.

Newcastle play some lovely football to watch.

Superb free kick from Trippier, just begging for Onana to slap it over the line.
A 0-0 would do very nicely though, please.
Rashford has no interest in being on that pitch. Shocking from a professional
Well done to the Barcodes good win that. Hope we can get something off you on Thursday evening
We’ve all noticed a massive difference in Bruno’s temperament in the last half a dozen games. He’s a lot calmer and more levelheaded and it’s no coincidence that I think he’s had his best games for us in that period. I think a sports psychologist has paid him a visit.
TAA - lovely goal but his first job is to defend and not looking so solid is he

Bournemouth playing really well - should be 4-1 up against Villa already
This Liverpool Fulham game is brilliant. End to end stuff.
Liverpool 3-2 down and now 4-3 up with two goals in as many minutes
My god lfc v Fulham what a game
Mental game, pace is off the scale.

VAR conveniently missing the assault on the Fulham player in the lead up to the 4th goal
And there we have the 2 most predictable posts of the day!
Keep your powder dry there’s another match coming up.
Great incentive for Spurs today. If they win 5-0 they go up to 4th.
Royale is the worst fullback in the league.
Cracking game that, fair play to Spurs for keeping an attacking ethos - they always looked a menace on the break.
Shameful refereeing again of course.
And yet again we’re talking about a decision. Every single game is about the officials and / or VAR. That’s as poor a decision as you’ll ever see. City were really poor, Spurs on the whole were good for a point but again, an official influences a result. Although obviously Grealish could have missed.
Fair play to Spurs they stuck at it against at wasteful & complacent Ciry.
Strange decision at the end on the advantage. Why blow when Haaland had regained his feet & put Grealish through ?
Odd.

Incredible result and performance, given that we had two fullbacks playing in the centre of our defence and three key midfielders missing as well. Despite the run we’ve been on since the Chelsea game I love this side, but our squad is so thin, especially in defence.
Was Grealish definitely onside at the end?

No doubt Spurs will be a lot happier with the point.
City should have put the game away in the first half with all those chances. They were poor in the second half and got what they deserved.
Spurs always looked a threat on the break.
Referee had his arm out indicating play on for the tackle and when Grealish was through he blew for the initial challenge, incompetence of the highest level there.

I’d have taken a point beforehand all day long. Fortunate that Haaland didn’t have his shooting boots on today but fair play to the lads. They kept going. Good performances from Kulu and Lo Celso. Bissouma didn’t have a good game and don’t think I can bear watching Royale at CB again. . More tough games up next against Spammers and the Toon so this point is well needed. Can’t wait until we have a full squad again
Presume there will be bans all round for the city players berating the referee at the end ,
shameful scenes
and to echo Ivan

I’m looking forward to our manager demanding a replay.
