She doesn't understand that I don't have enough watches. It's work in progress.

Agreed- There’s something about the Rio Olympic Speedmaster that hit the nail on the head-
I love the dial. I used to wear it a lot until my partner decided she wanted to wear it and I’m yet to
    get it back……

Pushed the boat out this year with the FXD and Explorer II so thought l’d do a one shot to end the year. 2024 likely to be a quiet one.

Just checking what I currently have and clearly it’s far too many.
Time for a cull and there’s four (or maybe more) to move on.

Time for my little lot: only one added this year. I have split into three Picts.

    Hope these turn out ok?

Here is a crap picture of them all together:

Currently these, aside from a Casio and a Garmin. There's 3-4 I keep thinking of moving on but I usually stay in the thinking rather than doing mode when I wear them again and there's no rush.
I have a couple of possible additions in mind, including a gold dress watch, but am leaning towards movements with longer PRs at the moment.

This is my type of collection. I could really see me enjoying the rotation of each and everyone of those. Nice one!

On an unrelated note, would you recommend that watch box? I note it’s torn at the bottom.

Thanks. Kind of you to say. It’s taken me a lot of time and effort to get here. If you had of told me a few years ago that I’d have a GP & BP I’d have laughed in your face!

The box was brought fairly cheaply from Amazon (i think) mainly due to it being able to fit in my safe. I’ve been more than happy with it, and on the odd occasion it’s been out to GTG’s etc it’s been commented on. Hadn’t noticed it was damaged to be honest, as it spends its life locked away in the safe. I’ve had it for a good few years though, and the safe is metal so a few battle scars are to be expected.

I noticed the box and liked how compact it is. I’m after one like that. Need either 9/10 capacity or a 6 and 4.

Lovely collection. The Tudor looks to fit in well with its big brothers.

After many years and hundreds of watches and brands I think this represents my end game. All 40mm watches and something slightly different.

Thanks. Think I’ve worn it four or five times, looks great in pics but the second I put it on I’m not into it. BAU for Tudor sadly.

Glad to see you added a bit of colour recently with the Pepsi. Is that a 116600? I've only sold 1 Rolex, that one, just before it was discontinued - it still makes me wince ...

A really nice trio, more interesting that most on here (including mine). I'm not normally a fan of non-sporty Pateks, but I make an exception for your 5212, just lovely - quite different to anything else they offer. Similarly, love the Radio Room, great combinations of colours (makes me think of the Joker).

Yes that’s a 116600, second one I’ve had. BLRO is a bit loud on the jubilee for me but the oyster I bought is being brushed at the minute.

Trying to get down to three like Ken but it’s easier said than done. Takes some commitment.

Surprised to see the milguass as your only Rolex Ken. I keep looking at Pateks as a sort of special occasion watch to consolidate into but can’t find one to settle on.

The Rolex thing is tricky, having had multiple SDs, Submariners, Daytonas and GMTs it felt as though it had run its course. My grail watch for a while was the Milgauss 1019, but didn’t manage to find one so opted for the GV instead, quirky and discontinued and I always wanted to try one, so something a little different.

The Patek consolidation watch I agree with you over, most people either head down the sports watch (Aquanaut, Nautilus etc) or the gold dress watch route. I saw the 5212 and fell in love with it. I just love the handwritten font on the dial, the case is stainless steel and 40mm and has hacking as well as a stack of 5 hands in the centre, which takes some doing.

The watch is seriously comfortable to wear and flies under the radar. I doubt many people seeing it would know what it was.

It took a Ceramic White Dial Daytona plus some cash from a Ceramic GMT BLRO sale to get, but glad I did. I had thought the two Rolex would be a dream team, but they just didn’t hit the spot.

This is a lovely trio. I must admit they are not my normal style but I appreciate each of them especially the PP.

I have to say if I must pick one the tri-Compax would be my favourite too, or the hardest to let go at least. Bought it from the original owner whom I am still in contact with.
