Nunez for Liverpool is almost unplayable and his ceiling is absolutely massive.

I suppose there's a sort of logic to this one.
Ball didn't go out, and then couldn't see clearly enough for the offside, so thats that.
VAR not relevant for the push as ref didn't see it as a foul. Therefore GoAl.
For me the push was a deffo foul. But all a bit odd these days. Big push by an attacker, no foul. But a week earlier Sterling got smashed over, no pen. Then wolves 2 weeks in a row concede pens from forwards diving on the floor, even when leading away from goal, with minimal contact.

You two silly Billy’s have fell into the trap haven’t you.
Young Darwin currently has the highest goal involvement in the prem.
Give it another year and he’s the best striker in the prem.

Had to be Diaz.
These matches are scripted.
This season only just started. Why does he need 3 seasons to get going ?

Trying to put my finger on what it is that's holding Darwin back from greatness. It'll come to me later I'm sure.
Just wait til Haaland gets going.....

That was before...
Man City game - Kovacic's 1st foul only deemed worthy of a yellow card, 2nd foul wasn't deemed worthy of a 2nd yellow card.
Chelsea game - Mudryk point blank header into Saliba's arm, penalty given. Sanchez wipes out Jesus in the penalty box, no penalty given.
Although the challenge by Havartz was stupid, in my opinion it was only worthy of a yellow card because it was his trailing leg/foot, had it been Xhaka I'm sure the referee would have given a red card and VAR wouldn't have overturn it.
I believe Gumirares commited 3 fouls worthy of a yellow card, the referee didn't see the first two fouls, 1st forearm into Jorginho head, 2nd a very physical barge into the back of Jorginho (off the ball) and 3rd ungentlemanly conduct kicking the ball at short distance at Havertz from a freekick to get him a 2nd yellow card, that is why Rice went up to/have a go at him.
I personally don't think the ball went out of play, but there was a two hand push by Linton on Gabriel, no conclusive handball by Linton and from video it does look like Gordon is offside, he is behind Raya but front of Gabriel for his goal. Arsenal had a goal rule out a couple of seasons ago, against Watford there was 2 Arsenal players (Aubameyang & Saka) and 1 opposition defender behind the goalkeeper (Foster).
VAR/Camera angle could not prove the ball was out so they go with the on field decision which should be the right decision, but the assistant ref/linesman was 1.well behind the play/ball, 2. if was he was in line with the ball both the goalposts and possible the net would interfere with his sight on the ball, so probably would of guess if the ball was in or out. Arsenal did have something similar against Liverpool last season, Saka coming back from an offside position, the assistant ref/linesman kept his flag down, he collected a ball from White then pass it to Martinelli to a score a goal, it went to VAR, but they didn't have a camera angle of where Saka was when the ball was played.
Excellent game by Forest yesterday, abject display by Villa, although it could have easily been a different score in either direction had more chances been taken by either side. Lots of shots at both ends going waaaaaay over the bar.
"A man of little significance"
Arteta has always been a clown and we need to get rid of him asap!
As for the match Arsenal were terrible, the last few matches we seem to want to just pass it around the back, keeper to defender, into mid, back to the defender, back to he keeper etc etc, looks good for possession stats but it is poor football. Also, Raya has been really poor, bring Ramsdale back in.
Without Odegaard we lacked any creativity, Kai is a total joke (yet again), Nkeitah was so terrible again, after scoring a hat trick you would have thought he would have been high on confidence.
As for the goal I thought the ball went out, it could have been a foul for the push and he also could have been offside, either way we did not deserve to win, did not even deserve to draw.
If he does not buy a striker in Jan we will keep on struggling, and please stop playing Kai, give Trossard or ESR a chance.
For me it was the foul that wasn't given that was the big red flag, that being said there were still some 25 minutes left for Arsenal to get something from the game, it's not as if we were peppering the Newcastle goal before that, we didn't deserve a victory, yeah IMHO the ref screwed up but a team that is supposedly going for the title should be putting themselves in a position where ref screw ups are irrelevant and we were nowhere near that. TBH I'd have bitten your arm off for a draw before the game.
I still think it evens out over the season, if we were unlucky with the the pen we conceded vs Chelsea then by the same token we should understand that the pen we got vs Spurs was equally fortunate.
Havertz, Nketieh and Jorginho are Poundland versions of the players they replaced in the side.
Luton drawing with Liverpool 1-1.
Villa getting bashed up 2-0 by Forest.
Made a mess of my fantasy football this week.
Cheers,
Neil.
Spurs should be two men down already.
Should be off twice , Romero.

VAR, there’s another 5 mins wasted, I friggin hate it. Kills the flow of the game, supporters can’t celebrate a goal etc etc.
Is it really improving the game?
Not for me it isn’t…

Oof
Both centre halves gone :(
And Maddison . That’s really bad news for Tottenham .
Mental but great game to watch

Romeo deserved 2 reds, Udogie lucky to still be on the pitch but it seems elbowing someone in the head is no longer a cardable offence? James surely had to go?
Shame for Van der Ven, he's been excellent this season. He'll be out until the New Year. I didn't see what happened to Maddison, he seemed to be able to walk off OK?
Crazy high line being played by Spurs - not smart with the pace of Sterling and Jackson

Spurs showing why they’ll struggle against top teams; far too high a line and and not good enough at the back to cope with that style. They haven’t played anyone decent yet this season other than Liverpool and we know all about that game. Chelsea are average but have ripped Spurs to bits tonight at times even with eleven men.
Top four is maximum for Spurs this season.
What on earth is Udogie thinking?
Also Spurs' fixture list after the international break is brutal
Darwin Nunez-esque finishing from Jackson there
9 men and still playing a high line?!!?
Liverpool will be watching this with interest.....
No doubt hoping for a 96th minute winner from Chelsea.

I know it probably means he has a worldie next week but Mudryk looks like he won a competition to play tonight . He’s absolutely abject .
Has the goalkeeper just lost a leg or something???
Wow what a game to watch.
