I am wondering if anyone can help posting pictures to this forum, as each time I try I fail miserably.

Is there a way to post a picture from one’s iPhone to the forum? All the guide posts are several years old and things seem to have changed since then.

I would like to join the Friday threads and also sell a watch or two, and have had no luck posting pictures so can’t!

Thanks - I have done so and it still doesn’t work. Sometime I can see the photo I tapatalk, but no one else can, and I can’t see the photo on the normal web browser. I will try it again on this thread and see if it works!

Further to the previous post, in Tapatalk it gives the message, ‘””your forum has disabled image sharing from this app’””: so Tapatalk looks out as well.

What does everyone else do?

Let me see if I can do a user guide (ironically by uploading screenshots)


1. Choose reply then the little photo symbol in the bottom left hand corner (highlighted):





2. This will open the photo gallery on my phone and I choose a photo:





3.Select the resolution:




4. The uploading % counter appears:




5. And the photo is there:

There’s nowhere on the Tapatalk settings for me to access photos - there is a link to ‘image preview’ which I have clicked, but that’s it. I honestly am at my wit’s end!

That might help explain things. My phone only gives me the option to change Siri, Notifications and Background App Refresh. I simply don’t get your functionality.

Could any member please advise me on why all of a sudden, I am not able to upload photos to the forum via Talkatap?
Never had any issue before day!
And now just get advised that there is a problem with one or more images and to contact them using an error report.

We are currently undergoing unscheduled maintenance, which is causing the image upload to fail. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience this is causing to the image upload.


The image upload will work again as soon as the maintenance is over. I don't have an exact ETA yet, but our technical staff is working hard to get it done as soon as possible.


In the meantime, you can continue to use the other features of the app.

I've just been trying to post some pics on SC - using ImgBB or Postimage - as I always have.

But for some reason I am getting the message "invalid file type" when I try to insert the links into my post. I'm just using jpegs as usual.

I am doing literally nothing different to how I have posted over the past fifteen years, but it's just not working.


Anyone else having similar problems or can advise?

Can you or someone, help me (us) out with a basic idea of best way (easyist way for PC challenged) to format to 500 pix width without loosing image quality, or deformed images?

I have set camera to 640 x 480 now but that is larger and when I reduce the image gets sluffy

I made a mistake in posting just over 500 (they were 640 wide) and you are right, it makes the page too wide in its views.

Is "97.7 KB" now the maximum image size that can be posted on TZ-UK? That's what the error message reads. 97.7 KB is barely a thumbnail these days!
