Marine Nationale style?
Hi... Not a lot of recent action in the straps forum so thought I'd ask here.
I've bought a San Martin sub-a-like for a holiday watch but the bracelet isn't the best and I want to get a reasonably modest rubber or nylon strap (definitely not NATO! ... not a fan) for it. I know I could trawl through Ebay sellers but hope someone has done my research for me (HeHehe!) recently. I understand it's a 20mm lug size but to my tired old eyes it looks more like 19mm.. Grateful for any suggestions.
Rob
I have a Hirsch Arne in grey for a similar watch. Wasn't sure at first, but now use it on a few different watches.
Nick Mankey are great straps IMO, but you have to be willing to wait quite a long time (3-4 months).
If it's 20mm you can't better a Scurfa rubber for the money imo.
Thanks, all. As always some great responses . I'll look into the Scurfa as suggested above.

Stick it on a 20mm FKM rubber waffle
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Barton do a great rubber quick release strap, plenty to choose from:

I was going to say Barton too.. they have the best 'locking' keeper I have seen.. it's got a good depth that drops into the hole really securely. Rubber thickness is just right too.
Bonetto Cinturini sells a large number of models. Caoutchoc rubber with deployant or regular buckle
Used to sell one design and don't know if changed on other models. Difficult to fit 1.8 mm spring bars, so have to use 1.5 mm
Thanks, all. I discovered a Cousins item which I had forgotten about in the straps box and have used that and in all fairness is quite good.
