Saka to be sent off for a second yellow a strong possibility?

Fulham are better than both of these two teams .
Have to agree. Pound shop Haaland about to come on.

Another graduate of the Raheem Sterling school of diving.
Kai couldn’t even dive competently!

Maguire coming on this is all Arsenals now.

Onana might be good at passing - but goalkeeping ... beaten at near post ?

Was a deflection to be fair.

Must be nice to be able to celebrate winning a trophy every week as an Arsenal fan.

You do realise that it’s the officials with a crayon and a ruler drawing the offside lines? Much easier to fix than a penalty overrule if your conspiracy theory had any credibility. But crack on, fill your boots.
Back on planet earth I’m astonished that Arsenal found a chink in that elite Maguire/Evans/Onana brick wall - good job the transfer window hasn’t closed yet.. oh wait.
Arteta comparing Havertz struggles to his struggles when he had to “”conquer his wife””.
I am sure that will really help the lad.

Oh joy
A billion spent in ten years and the defence at the end of the game was Wan Bissaka, Jonny Evans, Maguire and Dalot .
The protests will be hilarious.
That’s not the point though is it. If that challenge is made anywhere on the pitch and the ref calls it a free kick then nobody says anything and VAR can’t check it. VAR checked it today as it was in the box and basically told the ref to go and have another look which effectively means they’re telling him to change his mind. But they keep saying VAR is there for clear and obvious errors, their words not mine. The ref may have made an error but it wasn’t clear and obvious was it. He saw contact (which there absolutely was) and called it. That’s not a clear or obvious error.
They can’t have it both ways. If VAR is there to clear up all errors then just say that.
It’s great tech but the way we use it on the EPL is a disgrace. The number of incidents we talk about from VAR is an absolute scandal.
This new lad up front for man u looks decent

There was contact, I remember something similar with David Luiz. He was chasing a Wolves player (may be too closely) into the box and that player back foot hits Luiz's shin. Double jeopardy a penalty was given and Luiz was given a red card/sent off. Today Havertz back foot hits Wan Bissaka knee (who like Luiz was too close), looks like VAR only watched the start of the action (minimal contact) when Wan Bissaka came in but not the end of the action when the knee and foot came together as shown on tonight MOTD.
Civil War at Man United - Jadon Sancho has basically called Ten Haag a liar on social media.
I wouldn't worry though, Arteta will see the 'potential' and spend £75m on him in January
This is all reminiscent of United 1970 to 1985, chaos, big money or injury prone desperate recruitment a la Ted McDougall, Ron and Wyn Davies, Ian Storey-Moore.
Desperate need for a left back. Sold three during the summer, so have to select the second choice right back and grab the last man standing on the market. Three decent left sided forwards fighting it out for one place whilst just the one unremarkable show pony on the right. I thought the squad was being reshaped and balanced.
Six top £ signings: Pogba, Anthony, Maguire, Sancho, Lukaku, Di Maria, not one able to fit in and give sustained performance. A graveyard of careers and reputations.
Two defeats to soft southern teams already! The shame.
Hopefully Hojlund, Amrabat and the ex-Spurs lad can help steady things.

Not a great performance from either team but will take a 3-1! with Jesus back fit no idea why he started Eddie, Havertz with another terrible performance, not sure what he is meant to be doing, he is playing CM, cant tackle, cant shoot, has no creativity, doesn't put a shift in, just play Partney or Vieria.
man U looked terrible, their new striker does look good, seems a handful for defenders, if he would have started would have been a different game.
Havertz looks lost and was awful yesterday but he wasn't any worse than Saka. I couldn't understand why 90% of attacks went through Martinelli when he was playing against one of the best one-on-one full backs around. Surely Saka attacking Dalot was the better option?
Villa showing again that against a team that can press they're horribly exposed at the back, especially now with both first-choice left-sided defenders out injured (four of the starting 11 out injured, and with a not terribly big squad that's not comfortable). All three goals from defensive blunders. A baptism of fire for new CB Torres and another injured CB in Carlos, and a front line not making enough of the chances they had. Just one of those off days and another away defeat for Emery to ponder on.
"A man of little significance"
I made a terrible error in my FF by imagining that Chelsea would win at home against one of the lowest rated sides.
Cheers,
Neil.
Bizarelly thats the most stucture Ive seen from united all season and in the main thought we did ok, game plan was clearly to stay in the game and try and nick it at the end small margins and maybe we could of, I cant be too disapointed losing to Arsenal who I also didnt think were great yesterday - the two best moves there goal and the miss by saka but that aside I thought they were pretty average
When we went toe to toe with wolves, forest and spurs we were exposed way more and so we had to have more discipline and sit in - however injuries and not getting rid of the dead wood is a massive issue and the reality is ending the game with 5 players who arent in the long term plans tells you everything you need to know about the owners not addressing issues and having to scrape around for loan deals at the end of the window is laughable
3 of the back 4 (2 of which evans and maguire were deemed not good enough a long time ago)
dalot a squad player
ericsson squad player
anthony gets carried however that was probably the best I've seen him defensively at least and unsure what other options we have on the right
martial -how he gets any game time baffles me
As for Sancho hes no grounds whatsoever to complain - the manager answered a questioned and stated as other managers have done about mentality and attitude in training not being right - silly boy and is in danger of not reaching the potential
So all in all I didnt even think wed compete against arsenal away so not too disheartened

United team / squad is poor considering the money spent.
They’ve essentially become what Liverpool were in the 90s.

Pet hate of mine although there was minor contact.
All clubs have them though. Here at Brighton we have a chap called Mitoma who can go down easily under a challenge. James Milner gave him a right earful. Later he went through half the Wolves team, fouled two or three times, kept on his feet and scored a wonder goal.
Watching Grealish at Aston Villa was always embarrassing, thankfully Pep was cut all that out of his play.
Although the biggest cheat I’ve seen play on a regular basis was Harry Kane, forever backing in and falling over like a ragdoll. Hopefully Bayern can cure his balance problems.
