Probably the most valuable GTO of the lot. And it still gets raced regularly. 👏

Just seen 'B 26' on a matte black Bentley SUV weaving through traffic on the M5. The driver must have been too wealthy to use their indicators.
I recall once reading a story about John Surtees; Enzo offered him a deal as they were languishing unsold… £10,000.
For two!
Saw two next to each other yesterday, MA55 JOB on a hi-ab low loader, and next to it on a fancy new Defender 101 LR, if I hadn’t been being followed by a police car I would have tried to get a snap!
Also, in the same queue, a lorry had two signs on the back of it, one said, “Warning 360 cameras”, the other said, “Beware, blind spots”. I couldn’t help but wonder which was correct!?
Perhaps “Blind spots” sign was oe from new and now surplus, the other was later addition as an option?
Just been followed by a white Golf GTi bearing T11 VOM, funny when viewed in one's rear view mirror, but a bit cheeky...

Yesterday I passed a green Aston the plate was I’m sure Mr Lion
Is page 30 of this thread not visible to anyone else? Weird glitch, been happening for days for me.
Edit: And by posting it's now appeared. How very odd. Could see there were updates on the thread from the G&D page but could not get past page 29 (even manually editing the URL to 30). Across two devices (computer + phone) so presumably account linked. Now that I've posted it landed me straight onto page 30, which I now can access without issue. Go figure!
I couldn’t get past page 29 for a few days. My life was on hold.
I’m sure I saw PAU1 on a Rolls Royce Wraith yesterday but it comes up as being on a Porsche.

Couldn’t find the bell end with a plate thread so here we go
I would so love to be a traffic officer, any dodgy spaced plate would get a pull from me.
It’s just unacceptable and of course against the law but sadly plod dont seem care
Cheers,
Ben

I got pulled for my plates, spaced correctly but in motorcycle font*, slightly smaller than car standard font but easily read by all, and cameras, plod told if he saw me again with those plates my reg no would go back to the DVLA, a bit overkill.
* forgot to change machine setting when making them and thought It’ll be ok, lots of mots done with them on, but plod was obviously having a bad day.
That ‘Jay’ plate is still not bad as some on Pistonheads. I will have to try and find a particular photo where you could not guess what the original letters and numbers were. The letters and numbers were butchered beyond belief.
I think the plate reads as ENVY. I may well be wrong.
Saw MEL10R on a Range Rover this evening. It was correctly spaced as well.
A lad from our village was stopped by a traffic cop ( biker) for a big long chat about the spacing and size of his rear plate. He has a multistrada and the plate is DUC ****.
The officer even produced a tape measure and had to agree it was legal. Right at the end of the discussion the guy said , Im surprised you pulled me for that? Why says the cop, because the bike is still on sorn and he had completely forgotten, it was his first ride of the year. The bike cop smiled and said “ get yeerself home” . So these guys have some compassion after all.
HO7 2HOT
And if that wasn’t bad enough, on a darkened grey rather than white plate.
And nope not on Corsa VXR, a current LR Defender.
Forgot to get a pic but saw a bog standard Renault Clio with the plate 4BU earlier today. I wonder if they know how much it’s worth.
I have just picked up FE11XKM
My son’s name is Felix K****-M*****
Rather specific, but I am quite chuffed.

My brother and sister in law have a few *F11MER, there surname is Filmer and I’ve just bought CF10GET and MF10GET for my daughter and son in law, Charlotte and Matt Fidget. Not perfect but pretty close and only £250 each.
Unfortunately Matt can’t put it on his 07 plate Focus but it’s there for when he gets a newer car.
Noticed a car with a private plate and a random thought occurred. The plate was nothing notable, think it was 6 characters, but the notable thing was characters 2-3 were "77".
In h2 2027 the 77 plates will be released. Does that mean from that point onward that private plate can no longer be used on any vehicle registered before h2 2027?
Nope.
On the 2027 issue, the '77' characters will be 3rd & 4th on the plate. Completely different.
______
Jim.
The plate you are looking at I an A123ABC style whilst the 77 plate will be the newer AB12ABC style. The two are different so both will be allowed.
As will say, S555SSS and SS55SSS
