Wasn’t there a 43mm seadweller unworn for pretty much RRP that didn’t fly out the door in SC recently?

Quick query on Rolex DateJust & seeing as this thread generates the majority of replies, thought worth asking on here.
White/ silver dial DJs with Roman Numerals don't see to come with any lume on the newer ones. Looking at some online which seems to be 5-6yrs old have a black line inbetween the numerals and hands, I presume again this isn't lume?
I know the 'Wimbledon' dial has lumed hands, is it possible (as I know you can configure a bit with Rolex) to have lumed hands on the new Roman Numeral dials?
Not sure what the black line is that you speak of but fwiw, I'm pretty sure that the romans on the dials of the previous 6 digit references (116***) were white gold with no lume anywhere. I came very close to getting a white dial with Romans (116234) and that definitely didn't have any lume on it.
Met with the youtuber Charlie today as I was selling a watch to him so rather than post hand delivered it but they do do fully insured post if you were selling or buying.
Very professional operation with a really nice office/boutique in Yorkshire.
I didn't ask to take pics but really nice to be able to see lots of outstanding watches in the the one place.
Really gives you an idea as to how all the dials differ.
Interestingly he had 2 models of the current LV and the shade of green on the 23 model is quite different and more to my taste as It's more like the 5 digit LV.
Mappin & Webb, Regent Street.
Tried on Sea Dweller, red line, last Saturday and got the call on Monday.
And when I picked up, saw someone pick up a two tone Sub.

I got the call for my everose Yacht Master II this week, two months after I picked my Daytona up. Caught me on the hop coming quite so quickly though. Travel plans mean I can’t get there for a few weeks to pick it up, will be a long wait.
Entirely, I wouldn’t ask for anything over RRP as that’s where the crowd gathers plus I don’t like many of them personally, less of course a WD Daytona. I wish they would release a 42mm rig Yachtmaster on everrose.
If anyone gets an early call on a RG Daytona or DD please don’t pass it up just let me know as it’ll save a wee wait.
Agreed.
I intended to buy the Sub ND, but after seeing and feeling the SD43, the damn thing blew me away.
I was unsure how long the waiting lists were (or if another price increase was around the corner).
It was a present for myself as I will turn 50 next year.
But I might as well wear it for my 49th next month

For any of you guys still waiting for the call, watch fund overflowing and cash burning a hole in your pocket, desperate to buy something. This could be the answer:

There’s an eBay listing from a regular dealer for a Yacht-Master 126655, with a June guarantee card, at list. Surely must have been sold at a discount by the AD? Or expensive buyer’s remorse.

Not sure how difficult these are to get but Westfield Shepherd's Bush the Tudor boutique has the standard FXD and the Red Bull as a walk in. Same mall in Bucherer has the Omega blue dial Bond Seamaster on mesh with the fancy animated caseback and also a Royal Oak, again as walk ins. Here is the Royal Oak as I don't know the reference.

FXD, BB 54 and P39 in the window of goldsmiths in church street Liverpool.
BB58 gold looked awful too in DM robinson.

First time in along time I have seen a used ceramic sub sell for below cost of a new one.(yes there is a 6% buyer fee) but it does seem the premium for Rolex subs is fast evaporating.
Someone I know went into the AD that he deals with to look at a watch that had been sold, but he wanted to get an idea of what it was like. Whilst he was there they said they had a watch in the safe that hadn’t been sold and turned out it was the 41mm OP celebration dial. They said not one had asked about it and therefore he could have it. Said it had to go in the window for a month but it was his, so he agreed to buy it. Whether anyone could have got it I don’t know as he buys a lot from them.
