I like that, how big is it?
I recently acquired this lovely Omega. It is stamped inside the case CS(I) which means its been issued to a British Civil Servant working in India. The serial number dates it to 1943. It has an Omega Caliber 26.5 movement. The winding pinion is missing a tooth.
I sent it to Genesis Watchmaking last week for service. It's had a new winding pinion, new mainspring, new glass and new crown. The movement has been stripped down, cleaned, oiled and reassembled. Duncan tells me that he spent much time manipulating the hair spring and escapement.

Lovely watch,i just mised one on e-bay a while back. Its really good that you've given it a new lease of life.
I hawe Omega like your caliber but vith black dial with iluminous in very good condition. Is that watch good? How much cost one like this or like my?
I'm not sure how much it would be worth, try selling it and you will find out. Watches of this age that had lume used radium in the paint. This would put me off buying it personally, but there are plenty of collectors who have watches with radium dials. Mine doesn't have lume.

Lovely job.
The old parts which were replaced during the service - glass, crown, winding pinion and mainspring.
Glad you like the new crown, I do too. Its large size makes it easy to wind which was a requirement of military watches. It's stainless steel and has a waterproof seal. The old crown is made of brass and isn't waterproof. The new crown is Omega part number 069ST43059.
An interesting note about the new mainspring is that the original mainspring is tempered carbon steel and had become "set", it has lost some of its springiness over the years which reduces how long the watch would run. The new mainspring is made of modern materials which doesn't suffer that problem.

Wow!, that is amazing. My grand-dad had one of those.
Although a little too small for me, I do love the obvious what time it is, off white dial, and beautiful dauphine hands. Absolute classic.
That is a pretty cool watch. t.
Whats the lug width?
Here is another one, simiar style dial(photo could be better)
And with the CS(I) and an A on inside of caseback.
This one need a service so will have think about copying Andy's crown mod.
That's just lovely. 16mm? Where from?
I like that strap. The watch too.
Best wishes,
Bob

The WWW, 6B/159, HS 8-all fabulous looking on the wrist
Congrats on your Omega-I like it a lot
Absolutely lovely.
Those 2 dials are impressively good, whether they are original (I believe they are, but are they too good for that?) or redone.
