I think you would be hard pushed to get a discount on a Pelagos and absolutely zero chance if you are going the 0% finance route.
That said a great choice of watch whichever model you choose.
Morning peeps
As the title suggests I’m thinking of buying. Tudor Pelagos on finance and would like any suggestions as to where and if it is possible to get a discount?
I’ve collected watches for years but nothing ever above 2k and since buying a Apple Watch, yeah don’t, I’m considering selling a few of my watches and getting the Pelagos as a watch for life type thing.
Some of my cheaper watches are not worth much and so aren’t really worth selling anyway so they can stay but has any one else here bought watches on finance and do you have any regrets etc?
I have looked and with £1000 down the monthly of around £65 seems very good to me due to the 0% interest
But any suggestions of where and even if you think there’s a better 1 watch for life type watch then let me know
Thanks

Unfortunately a lot of the time it’s a discount or 0% in my experience.
Having said that if you don’t ask, you don’t get!
Shocked to see a Pelagos is now £4,120
What’s the longest period the shop will do 0% for?
I would be more inclined to buy used
Interest free really is a no brainer if you can afford it but want to spread the cost. But don’t expect a discount on IFC.
As others have mentioned most high street retailers wont do IFC & discount, I'll also suspect it would be hard to get discount on the Pelagos. IFC works if you can afford it and easies cash flow (I presume most IFC schemes are up to 48m max) Alternatively if you can get discount, an interest free CC could also work?
I've been recommend AMJ Watches before when looking, they might be able to offer a deal.
Good luck though
With recent interest rate hikes 0% interest effectively is a discount if you have the cash to pay but don't want to use it.
5% interest on Barclays rainy day saver up to 5k.
A lot of places I’ve looked at do 48 months so depending on your deposit the monthly is that much to be fair.
I have been looking at used but I don’t know something in me wants it brand new, but I’ll keep an eye on here to see what comes up as I don’t trust the bay.
Thanks

WoS do 48 months I think, though not sure if they do Tudor on IFC (they don't do Rolex IFC & sometimes Tudor follows Rolex, sometimes not).
As others have said, credit or discount is going to be either / or but IFC is kind of like a discount given current rates.
Good luck!
Ernest Jones sell them on ifc.
If you sign up to their mailing list you'll get a 10% off code. My brother got 10% of a bb58 on ifc and I got 10% off a 3861 sapphire with a card payment this week.

Funnily enough, when I bought my 16610 many moons ago, I rocked up ready to pay cash for it. No "waiting list" in those days. Dealer said I can't give you any discount off this, but what I can do is give you three years IFC and you can leave the money in the bank. Back then interest rates were pretty much where they are now, so it worked out quite nicely. Of course, good luck getting IFC on a steel sports Rolex today. Indeed good luck getting a steel sports Rolex full stop. And even better luck finding a dealer who wants to do you any kind of favour.
I bought my Zenith with the 3 year interest free Klarna payments offered,it was easy to do.
Weren't earnest Jones offering the same/similar?
Interest free credit card?
Yes you are correct.
It looks pretty simple so see what you will pay monthly on this page.

You'll be lucky to get 0% credit and a discount, but with the current interest rate you'll be doing well with 0%.
If you won't be miss £65, why not.
As someone else said maybe look at interest free CC if you can get a discount.
I bought my Sinn EZM7S on 0% credit as an impulse buy.
I don't regret buying it, but it's not my favourite watch, but I never missed the money I spent on it.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
Got my Fxd with Ernest jones and 10% down and 48 month payments at 0%. No brainer really and should have done that with my pelagos 39 as well.
Cash I saved has gone into my offset mortgage to pay it off sooner.
One thing I’ve learned from this thread is that no one said don’t get a Pelagos get ….
So a Pelagos it will definitely be

Try to negotiate a discount. Pay by your best rewards credit card either loyalty points or cash back. Then transfer the balance to a Nat West 0% balance transfer card. Currently there’s an offer of zero transfer fees and 19 months at 0%.
If the above doesn’t work Goldsmiths / WoS offer 48 months 0%
