Could someone PLEASE show Paul McCartney how to get off site?
It's been a year ffs.
Yes, it definitely improved after Live and Let Die.
I thought Sweet Child O’Mine, November Rain and encore of Paradise City were excellent. I’m no expert but Slash’s guitar playing sounded great.

He's top-drawer, always liked his playing, but for me he took it to a new level last night. I suppose Glasto will be the biggest show they will ever do from here on in, probably in terms of crowd numbers but definitely in world wide TV and media exposure so he pulled out all the stops.
If you could make a half man half guitar Borg, he would be it.
I'm getting old and grumpy now, and have man flu atm. Didn't even watch it, with all the bad reports I heard about it.
Seen Rick Ashley perform highway to hell. Looked like good fun for the crowd. He's a decent fellow and always good fun.
The Manic's always put on good show. This always pleases me as they have always stated their admiration for my favourite singer, songwriter and band; Stuart Adamson from Big Country.
Stay Alive!
Have a good Sunday all.
We saw The War on Drugs in Halifax on Tuesday…if they are as good tonight they’ll be the best band of the weekend so far.

Just watching The Pretenders and what a great set they’re delivering. Hynde’s vocals still sound as they did years ago and the group’s lead guitarist is wonderfully talented. I didn’t think it could get better and on walks the sublime Johnny Marr, such a cool guy. To top it off Dave Grohl (yes again) pops up on drums. For me it’s been one of my favourite Glastonbury’s for years.
Cheers

Did anyone catch Generation Sex? They were good fun.
Finally had some time today and caught up with some more Glasto. The Manics were great as usual and James Dean Bradfield is underrated as a singer and guitarist I feel and he’s superb in both areas. I’m still trying to develop my guitar skills and so many Gibson LP’s and 335’s and Fender Strats/Tele’s on show throughout the festival. JDB had some lovely lesser seen guitars. A fantastic black Eastman that had a wonderful tone and one I’d never seen before and a Bowie Supro.
Also an unidentified acoustic that some others may recognise.
Cheers
Neil

Been doing some iPlayer catch-up.
Re-watched some GnR to make sure I wasn’t being unfair. Knockin’ On Heavens Door was great, Night train and Paradise City reconfirmed my view that the band are great musicians, Slash has still got it, but Axl just can’t carry those songs anymore. “A” for effort, but he’s just not got the fitness or the range to not drag the rest of them down.
Rick Astley & Blossoms doing Smiths covers were decent.
CHVRCHES now definitely on my radar. Will be listening to more of that.
The Chicks have been Sundays highlight so far.
I hardly recognised Natalie Maines at first, for a split second I thought Eddie Izzard was doing a guest spot.
Is this about Lewis Capaldi? If so I couldn’t disagree more. The lad was seriously struggling with his Tourette’s and the out-pouring of love and support was something really special. He’s cancelled all of his tour but didn’t want to let the Glasto crowd down. I felt it was a very special moment.
Someones escaped from the care home after too many sherries
Rick Astley and Blondie were far better than I expected
Cat Stevens still has this. Impressed.

Really enjoyed G’n’Rs last night. Slash was ace
Goldfrapp was excellent!

The Mael Bothers - Sparks.
Saw them in Glasgow, live, a few weeks ago.
Their set on Friday for Glastonbury was as good as live.

Teskey Brothers were fantastic. There's always someone every year who I've never heard of who do an amazing set. They're the ones this year.

Gabriel’s
Pretender’s
Rick ‘rollin’ Astley,
Slash
Hoping so as just had Duff singing and I could hear what was being sung vs just knowing the songs.
Was tempted to ditch it but will continue.
All has just come back on & can hear him - almost like a different performer (or a new mic or sound crew!)
Slash has always been my guitar hero and he’s delivering in spades, smiling like a teenager when I discovered them for the first time.
Cat Stevens is brilliant imo.
Johnny Marr with the pretenders. Lovely black L.P. Custom and his classic soùnd fitted in well
Funniest flag today was “Kendal In the Wind”
One for the Succession fans ahead of Elton John tonight.
Yusuf/CS was quite beautiful. A lovely man and an amazing talent, will feel good all week after that.
Watching the rest of GnR's now. Can't be bothered finding the post bit someone above said it wasn't a good version of Sweet Child Of Mine, couldn't have been watching what I am.
Thought Slash was fantastic pity on Axle’s vocals unlike Cat Stevens he nailed his. Watching Elton now musically brilliant but vocals to me are poor now.
