    New watch suggestions

35-38mm, 10-11.8mm ish thick, nice textured or sunburst dial, decent auto movement, date window and looks decent on a bracelet or strap

    300ish budget.

    Any suggestions?

At this price point I would be looking at micro-brands.
You can get a lot more fro your money.
However, you need to be doing the legwork to find the model that speaks to you.
Do you want modern, traditional looking, dressy, divey? Most things are possible within your budget.

I have had great experience owning the following micro-brands.
Gruppo Gamma (and Venturo), Timefactors (our host), Armida, Helson, Tactico, Crepas, RZE, Redwood, Nite, Scurfa etc etc.
