When I was at University in 1990 and I needed a ‘handle’ my favourite track was chime by orbital and so it goes …. Nothing to do with watches
For me, slightly short-sighted logic - but back in 2011 when I signed up I was working for News International. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Left a year later but too late to change my name on here. :)

I live in Essex, Male.
First forum I signed up to asked for a username, at work I was sometimes called Essexman as a joke, so used that. Seemed to stick, so continued to use it on other forums.
Used to collect small Honda bikes, short sighted and too late to change now.
Nowt to do with a glove.
It is because there is no love for TAG watches on this forum.
On a forum long ago, I was just back from a skiing holiday when I needed to make up a username.
I've used snowman or a variation of it ever since.

The name was 'invented' by my wife for something different than a watch forum's username. And it wasn't in use by another member when I joined here, so I could use it/keep it.

^ KavKav, I see you're also on Insta.
As to mine: takes me back to my student days down the GUU with sheep dip and the jukebox (including TP's Learning to Fly), it also goes with my name, and the extra 's' due to the original already being taken on eBay back in 2001.

Anagram of explorer.
Name and birth year. The + is because I first accessed this forum through Tapatalk and my first few posts were inadvertently on SC, which resulted in Dave63 being banned.

I was lucky with the Tapatalk glitch and an apology to Eddie via pm after it was brought to my attention.
Mine is simply from the S2KI S2000 website being the first forum I joined and MJ is my initials.
Lots of mj2k about though, as never got it for my PS or Xbox usernames, and it seems to be on a load of car forums I’ve never joined or owned.
Just a silly forum handle from more than 20 years ago based solely on the fact that Old Sodbury is my spiritual home, if never my actual PoD. Now I am actually old-old, it seems even less funny...
I’m oriental, a little bit fat and did martial arts for a while…
Well you can guess what my first name is, the 23 is the age I got my first email address. (I’m a wee bit older now)
No idea, just a handle that came into my head at the time...it obviously stuck.
AOL shoved two of my keywords into one, I clicked OK. Seems so long ago!
Mine came about by glancing at a Rugbytech fleece jacket that was hanging on the back of the door when I was trying to think up a username. Just altered it slightly and there you go.
Surname-derived college nickname (everyone had to be reduced to a syllable)
My life long nickname that has followed me everywhere.

You cause a few blackouts on an offshore vessel, and do they remember you for engineering?
No! They call you "Black Al" !
Pub nickname coined after a trip to somewhere forrin ("hark at her - Carlton-Browne of the FO" I think were the words). Lasted as a pub nickname for all of about two weeks but I continued to use it as an online identity.
