Picked up this bad boy at the airport this morning. Couldn't be happier (she).
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Warning - Swearing in video.

Arrived today and it's mint, makes me wonder why I ever sold my old one over a year ago.
It's a keeper.

Two very difficult incomings on the same day! Special delivery saw the Sinn come at around 11 this morning and then off to the Christopher Ward showroom at 12 to pick up a very bronze Dune C65.

Big Crown Pointer
Has a choo-choo train on the caseback - some ltd edition that I can't spell.
I like that the lume isn't discoloured like on some of the other pointer models.
The strap is nice, cervo volante deerskin with quick release tabs. Thick and supple.
A trip to Chester today to bag this beauty, it still had the stickers on!

Last Exit watch sold already…
Now new on my wrist a 2015 Sinn Flieger reference 356 SA GB pre owned with a lot of history and signs of wear that runs very accurately on black NATO

Love a 356. Must try one at some point
Oris also make a damn fine looking watch
Finally made it in to London on a day when they had models in stock (red, yellow, pale blue, pink) Wasn't going to pay over the odds, and glad I didn't. I am however pleasantly surprised, as its a cool thing, and on the Erika's perfect for a summers day.
I was indeed, although I did agree with the seller to pay a fair price for the Sinn that was more than advertised.

Mini-grail for me today:
Glashutte Senator Cosmopolite in white gold. Noticeably heavy, but still wears very comfortably on my not especially large wrist.
A present from my wife; enjoying it with my favourite wine
Get your shades on, it's summer time! (Ish?)
New arrival for me today, a Namica Shirahama Ultra Blue! Lotta lume on this thing (including the bezel).
Picked this up at Heathrow on the way out to Bangkok, WOS in Terminal 4. They also had the Pelagos 39 available to buy.
No discount but they checked in some Bang and Olufsen headphones worth £379
Trying to cut numbers, 3 out this week and to soften the blow this new arrival
Full UK RRP sadly as there are no longer VAT free watches at Heathrow. They will discount watches that aren't Rolex or Tudor though.
It's a fab watch in a way I totally wasn't expecting and I'll do a write up later. Honestly it's brilliant and the 1st modern mechanical watch that in some ways does a better job than the digital equivalents.
Coming up to 2am here so need some sleep but I'll post some thoughts as to why this is such a good watch and also why you could have this and the standard Pelagos in the collection - I don't thing it is necessarily an either/or decision
