Not this time around but saw him in Glastonbury in 1987. He was superb, I hadn't heard of him beforehand but bought his then current album as soon as I got home.
Never seen him live, got most of his albums, really looking forward to it.

Have all his albums and have seen him twice live - a couple of years ago at Guildford Live and many many years ago when he played Holmfirth Picturedome which is a very small venue. The concert there was superb. Would happily go see him again as he is very good in concert.
Saw him years ago when he started out and a couple of times after incl a special he recorded for Granada TV. Great guitar playing, lovely tone.
Do like Robert Cray. Haven’t seen him live, where is he playing?
Seen him live three times, first on the Strong Persuader tour in 87 or 88 and latest last year, literally 300 meters from home.
Go for it, his live performances are even better than the records.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
I’m going to the O2 9th June

I saw the Robert Cray band a good few years back. First heard then when my brother bought an EP - Strong Persuader, around 1989 or 1990 and I loved it. At the time I was mostly into acid house and various indie bands, as well as the great ‘60’s and ‘70’s bands, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, etc. Anyway, it was a good 15 years later that I got to see them live and they were every bit as good as expected. Hope you enjoy it too.
Saw him back in the '80s supporting Tina Turner at the SECC in Glasgow.
I think it was Tina's Break Every Rule tour.
Not sure if I enjoyed the support or the main act more.
On reflection probably the support !!!
