Slightly different to the usual fayre on here so far but I’m really enjoying Robson Greens Weekend Escapes.
It’s wholly centered around the North Yorks/ Northumberland / Newcastle and Durham area .
It focuses on getting out and about in the areas and focuses on mental and physical well-being whilst doing various pastimes .
He usually has a guest on and his natural exuberance make for an entertaining 25 minutes .
A one off rather than a series but I recommend an RTE documentary currently showing on BBC4 about the restoration of Shackleton's shed.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned already, had a quick scroll but didn’t see it.
The Offer. The story of how the Godfather movie was made. A great watch.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, or if anyone is a fan. But there’s a second season of Your Honour on Paramount, three episodes available at the moment. Check it out if you haven’t seen it, it’s very good.
Disney+ Mandalorian, Boba Fett & Obe Wan are excellent 👌
Season 4 of Fauda is now out on Netfilx. Epic...
Anyone watched 'You Don't Know Me'?
Loving Kaleidoscope on Netflix.
Really well done and clever the order of episodes is random.
Watched 6 in one sitting yesterday after a nice late lunch out.
Patriot on Amazon prime is excellent

A mate who normally recommends good stuff suggested Severance (Apple TV)
It gets 8.7 on IMDB but 3 episodes of 9 in & I still don't get it.
If I don't by now should I bail of keep going?

Wanted - Damasko DC57
May have been mentioned before but Our Flag Means Death is now on iPlayer. It's a lovely, warm-hearted comedy directed by Taiki Waititi, about a gentle English nobleman in 1717 who wants to be a pirate. A lovely cast full of, "Oh, it's him from that thing!" Just watched the pilot, as it's been on my radar for ages, and I was not disappointed.
I just discovered and watched two of the three seasons of the bloody comedy, Santa Clarita Diet. It stars Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore, who has become a zombie due to a rare virus. They are a residential realtor team and parents of a very astute teen daughter, living between a local police officer and a county sheriff deputy. If you can handle blood and gore in a comedic presentation, I highly recommend it. The plot and writing are excellent, and the acting is spot on!
Currently enjoying season one of the Godfather Of Harlem.
THE LAST OF US
On sky Atlantic
Just started watching episode 1
Good so far
I have been watching The Recruit on Netflix and enjoyed it.
Yellowstone. Just finished season one. Gripping.
Succession but cowboys
A series on YouTube, if that counts, but worth seeking out I think, are the “Homemade Documentaries” Apollo and Mercury episodes. Lots of footage I've never seen before, intelligent commentary, and Speedmasters galore.
Example below, but start anywhere.
Magnificent achievements.
Really do love what they have done with this so far, episode 4 was a little lacklustre but I think that may be due to how bloody good the other three were if I'm honest.
Reminder that the next episode airs tonight rather than Monday so it doesn't interfere with the Super Bowl!
Probably, not the right way to watch a series, but due to two factors:
1) Publicity
2) Both Mrs Topcat and myself have spent the whole week at home suffering from Flu.
We watched all 3 series of Happy Valley.
Initially, I thought it was going to be ok.
But then as per most drama programmes, the lines of factual reality become very blurred with fiction.
Being ex job didn't help!
Mrs T's answer was "Its only a TV programme.
Come to that the first episode of the last Silent Witness was exactly the same.
What unarmed Police officer would go in the opposite direction to the Firearms Team, who have overall authority of any Firearms OP.
And why were those found in back of the van, not under any form of Police protection.
Ok, back in my box LOL
How have they dragged another series out of “Your Honour”?
Nothing decent is left alone these days.
I’ve been watching the Tennis Doc on Netflix. Very good. Similar golf one out soon too.
'The Gold' on BBC is off to a promising start, though I'm not happy with Kenny Noye's portrayal (so far) as some sort of lovable rogue. And the male copper reminds me of Manuel.
Finished this in one evening - wonderful acting!

*Spoilers* sorry
Yellowstone great
1883 equally enjoyable
1923 what a crock of @#&% . Storyline unbearably Mills & Boon now with added sharks, dead people’s wedding rings, Lions, surviving 4 bullets to the torso, slow boats home.
When you look at the line up for 1923 you think this will be fabulous
Harrison Ford
Timothy Dalton
Helen Mirren
Jerome Flynn
Robert Patrick
But no each episode is 20 minutes drawn out into 50 minutes and he’s still not gotten home !
Watched "Save me" on Now TV with Lennie James - and started the sequel "Save me too"; worth a watch.
Hit and Run, it’s an Israeli/American thriller. Hope there is a season two. The lead actor is also in a good series called Fauda. Acting and plot pretty darned good. Unbelievable is also worth a watch if you like the idea of a world filled with people with superpowers that can be brilliant or almost useless, silly but fun

Couldn't find any reference to it on here but Extraordinary on Disney + is just brilliant. Most original TV i've watched in ages.
it's set in current day but everyone gets a super power when they turn 18, some are trad marvel powers but many are very very stupid like being able to 3d print small objects with your arse. Or being able to speak for the dead. Or being able to tell someone how they will die. Only one lass is 25 and hasn't got her powers yet.
it's silly, it can be very crude but mrs donkey and i both loved it. They call their cat jizzlord. if you don't find that amusing i'd give it a wide berth. :D
