As boring as it may be, I've yet to find a better match than the original bracelet on the 857.

Been wearing my Damasko DC56 on a cheap black Tropic-style strap and enjoying the look and feel during the damp winter months. This put me on the hunt for a higher-quality take - hearing good things about FKM rubber I decided to try one of these from ebay seller 'alpine-watch-supply':

Very pleases with the results - done a fuller writeup on the Leather, Rubber & Nylon forum here.

I’d had this boxed up for months with the intention of selling/trading it… but couldn’t think of what I’d replace it with.

So I’ve popped it back on the Haveston & given it another chance.

Like having an extra Christmas present !

Newly received custom made leather strap for the SeaQ. To me it really suits the vintage vibes the watch gives off.

Took a long time, and I had to taste a lot of porridge, but today I finally got the Goldilocks grey I’ve been searching for to go with the Credor. What do you think?

  13. #2413
Think this works pretty well, these CWC Natostretch straps are super comfy!

I recently sourced a lug on here for this... and sourced this nato as I wanted something black or grey but with the trim colour to actually match the aged lume on it.

    I think they do also.

Refined, elegant, almost dainty watch / ENORMOUS LARGE-SCALE CROC!

Honestly, it’s such a beautiful watch it would work with just about any strap, though I could see it rocking a tan leather one.

Thumbs up from me. What's the strap?

Thanks. It’s a Di Modell print - beating straps at 10x the price so far ;)

Thanks Sean. I thought it would look ace on tan, but it seems to clash with the blued hands somehow.

(I also thought blue suede would work, but I try not to talk about that anymore!)

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Rubber NATO works well on these although I can imagine that flap of strap end might be a deal breaker for some!

No offence meant, but do you want the keeper on that NATO to nibble the lugs on your speedie??!! Move it away and save it from being nibbled please!!

I’m not a fan of the original Speedmaster bracelet, so have fitted this for now.

The Seiko Speedtimer looks suitably '69 on this doesn't it? It's a ralle strap the fella who owns Straton gave me a couple of years ago. Not used it before but I think it's found a good home on this.

It's a contrast, but I think it works.

I've never thought much of that particular Breitling model variant, on that strap combo though it's mighty fine. It's a "love" vote from me.

Never been one for green dials, but that combo works very well to me eye

I bought a couple from CWC - single pass too (if that's your preference). A bit stiff on arrival (ooh 'err missus!) but as per the recommendation of a couple of the chaps here, a few minutes spent twisting them softened them up noticeably. Including shipping they were £26 for two, which I thought pretty reasonable and the quality & hardware seems good (although I've actually not worn them apart from fitting them to see how they looked on the watch).

You can also get them from Cheapest Nato straps (I know it does not sound that good but they actually are really decent, although a bit short), and watchgecko.
A nice change from the usual nato strap but still prefer the classic, nice and simple natos

Yes, mine are from CNS. They're from their Premium range. I've been wearing natos for many years and these are as good as anything I've ever had.

    Paging Walter, come in, Walter.
    Ive gone obnoxious

  48. #2448
I was just thinking, it's been a while since I've been obnoxious. And there are some stinkers on this page.

I have a visitor until Sun pm - Sun evening, I'll drink some beer and have a pop.

And just to show that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to straps,
