Red face Original (60's) Omega Speedmaster Ed White - anyone know of one for sale?

Must be in the UK/Europe, all original (i.e. no re-lumes, replacement hands/dial etc.) and running perfectly.

If you have one for sale or know a reputable seller, please get in touch. :)

I'm loving my FOIS, but also want an 'Ed White' - not the new, overpriced re-issue. I had one a few years back and sold it. :( Idiot!!! ('Learningtofly' knows the felling).

I don't like that one, the lug profiles are wrong for a -65 suggesting a heavy polish and it has a replaced bezel & crown (I think), though I note the original bezel is included. The hands are a bit grotty also. If spending 5 figures I'd keep looking.

I have both, I can see the attraction but many won't as they tick a lot of the same boxes.

I have a 1964 example. I might consider selling so PM if you are interested and we can discuss further.

OP, why keep putting your wtb threads here? The boss has a specific forum for them for a reason, and everybody else plays nice.

Thanks all for input and PM's. :)

I get more of a useful 'conversation' on here and feedback from the wider forum than just posting a 'WTB'.

I'd be surprised if Eddie minded.

Absolutely - it is a watch forum after all.

Thanks Jonathan. That's a lovely vintage Speedmaster but not an 'Ed White'.

Apologies - forgot that bit of the equation! Good luck with the search.

I’d recommend hunting on the Omega Forums.

Some nice pieces on the Watches of Lancashire site.
Has anybody dealt with them? Are they a reputable outfit?
