The English is fantastic its the mixture of a Sergio Leone Western, with a touch of Sam Peckinpah and a large dose of Quintin Tarantino... Superb!
Well I have to say Tulsa King on Paramount+ is bloody briliant, the scene in episode 2 where he's taking a test is p-ss funny...
Really enjoyed Tokyo Vice, quite disappointed with it's very abrupt ending though! Only renewed in summer so I'm expecting a fair wait for S2. Shame.
Started The English - immediately gripping. Looking forward to watching more!
The FIFA doc on Netflix in 4 parts is very good, David Conn is a great journalist (as seen recently with the Michelle Mone PPE scandal) and the doc gets access to some really interesting insiders including Sepp Blatter himself!

We watched both series of Bloodlands on iplayer and thought it was absolutely brilliant with the way it unfolds and the satisfying ending.

Did I miss mention of The Peripheral on Prime?
I’m enjoying it so far, a bit Matrix meets Westworld but in a good way
Another vote for The English. watched a couple of episodes this afternoon.
Wednesday, compelling, weird and funny.
Channel 5, how the other half live. Presented by Brian Cox from Succession.
Only two episodes but extremely good and very sobering.
Just started James Corden's Mammals, very promising black comedy on Prime.
Loved SAS Rogue Heroes, thanks for the heads up as I normally swerve BBC stuff nowadays.

Ive finished the English - superb.
Also just finished motherland on Netflix which is very funny and well observed plus Diane Morgan.
Now working through white lotus s2 and have Wednesday on my list.
Kims Convenience on Netflix is also very good and an easy watch.
Anyone else recognise who the School Principal is in Wednesday, clue she was in GOT...

Don't watch GoT, but I recognised her from The Sandman where she played Lucifer Morningstar.
Red Election on Disney+ Comment below sums it up for me, thoroughly enjoyable and (a little absurd) but engrossing.
"A Spooks-like spy drama based around European geopolitics, Russian expansionism, Scottish separatism and good old- fashioned Cold War espionage.
The cast are great. It's tightly paced and completely binge-worthy!"
Was recommended Inside Man on iPlayer. Enjoyed it. Only 4 episodes so it kept moving.
Just finished season 3 After Life. Superb
Edge of the Earth - Sky Documentaries
I’ve watched 2 of the 4 episodes that are all about extreme adventures and they were absolutely superb.

When Severance first came out, I watched the first episode and didn't like it. I was struggling to find something to watch last week, so thought about going back to it.
I am so glad I did, it is excellent. I was gripped, watching one after another.
Just posting this now in case others did the same.
Just finished this and can highly recommend it.

I found Outer Range on Amazon was very watchable. Cowboy sci-fi, and not too heavy on the sci-fi. The story isn't resolved at the end of the season.
Mentioned earlier I think but Peacemaker on Sky has some real laugh out loud moments. John Cena is great, if you liked the Boys it’s got a similar vibe - good switch your brain off juvenile fun. About 5 episodes in and really enjoying it.
Finished re-watching the two seasons of Jack Ryan on Prime. Wife described it as 'mixture of Bond and Bourne' which I think is pretty good. Absolutely superb! Looking forward to S3 landing on 21st December.
Also watched Tyson on Disney, thought it was rubbish.

No it's a dramatised TV show. Sorry I got the name wrong, it's called 'Mike'. It does spend a whole episode on his rape of Robin Givens and makes it clear she was a victim, but it also glosses over a lot of the nasty stuff he's done because 'it's who he is'. Think it was 8 episodes, some of the performances are quite good - Harvey Keitel as Cus D'Amato a particular highlight.

Started the second series of Slow Horses last night. It's just as good as the first one
Gary Oldman is excellent in it
I’ve just watched the first two episodes of 1899…
Starts promisingly but the closing scene of ep2 is the press stop moment.
Don’t bother,
It’s 2 hours you’ll never get back
Three Pines on Amazon. Good old fashioned 2 hour murder mysteries. Alfred Molina is excellent, as usual.
Let The Right One In on Showtime/Paramount +. There have been a couple of movies of this story but this is a show that takes it further and in a slightly different direction.
Really well done, acted, great story and fairly grown up. Well worth a look!

This is a great watch, loved series 1. Gary Oldman is fantastic.
Also watching Dopesick on Disney, Wow this is one of the best series I've watched in a long time, just can't turn it off.

let the right one in - 3 eps in and very good so far

Watching The Patient on Disney+, with Steve Carrell and Domhnall Gleeson.
Very short episodes - only 30mins and we're about half way through the series. Quite good so far.
Tulsa King, really, really enjoying Stallone´s performance as fresh from 25 yr jail stretch Mafia capo sent to Coventry by Da Family, or in this case Tulsa Oklahoma.
Got around to watching Andor - fantastic. Great casting, acting, writing, pacing. Really enjoyed it.Very keen to watch S2!

We watched Wednesday, finished it last night, and enjoyed it as escapist silliness. And yes we are Harry Potter fans, obviously
Has Slow Horses been mentioned 👍
I enjoyed The English on BBC iPlayer - some great characters & fantastic cinematography...
.. although the ending was a bit lazy.
Guardian Review here - The English review – Emily Blunt’s sweeping western is a rare, sensational masterpiece
