Yes indeed.
They seem to be copying Sinn with that dial, looks almost identical to one of their U1 LEs
First thing I thought was 'rainbow Daytona' wannabee.
No doubt will appeal to someone if Omega have done their research. Not sure who, someone who's a bit confused maybe.
I've been trying to design watches with the help of an AI today, with mixed results. Perhaps Omega have been too?
Very sad to see this.
But the blue variant is a stunner so yes and no.
If that was Steinhart, everyone would rip it to shreds
Isn't this, finally, getting to where Rolex were when Omega started their re-ascent?
That's gopping beyond my powers of description.
The blue version is brilliant , a real next step in the Bond seamaster range

Agreed, the Blue Seamaster 60th is brilliant.
Why have two colours on a bezel if it isn't a GMT?
Omega has way too many SKUs. The best thing they could do is thin the herd. Way too many watches.
Well as a Scot I can see it's obviously a special edition for Celtic fans!
But, but....Bremont!
This is actually how I felt. I have always been a big Omega fan.
This diamond encrusted stuff really stinks - and it is wafting all over the brand. Even stuff they do incredibly well is slightly damaged by it.
Why couldn’t they just release the blue 60th seamaster today and be done with it?

I don’t think the gem set version is that bad, it’s not nice but I have seen a lot worse. I quite like the dial and the bezel colours are not too bad. (I prefer it to the all green Seamaster - yep no accounting for taste)
The blue version is almost lovely. I dislike the 60 marker on the bezel, it should be a pip but I get why it’s the numerals, and the case back is yuk. I could never bring myself to wear a Bond watch, I much prefer my real life spacemen to imaginary secret agents.
I think the grey dial blue bezel or the all black ceramic are the best looking modern SM300s IMHO

First thing I thought on the seeing the yellow bezel was ‘oh, the new Omega Wee-master’ - absolutely awful, the bezel and the dial are individually bad, but together it’s the stuff of nightmares!

Variety is the spice of life, there are some very conservative tastes in here.
Is that the Let’s just cater for the boring British and forget the rest of the worlds buyers Buisiness plan.

I thought this was a joke...until I checked myself. What were they on when the design guys came up with this!!!
I thought the stainless verlsion looked nice, and then I checked the price. Yep lost the plot:
- too many special editions
- attempting to create exclusivity through pricing versus availability
- mindless film tie-in and miliing it mercilessly
I'm generally the biggest Omega fan boy going, but now I'm thinking my money is best spent elsewhere. Tudor is an easy choice now, and if you belive the rumours on Rolex becoming more available there's a fair few priced same or more keenly than some of these Omegas - that's a no brainer for me I'm afraid. IWC would be a good alternative if you don't want to look the same as everyone in town.

“ Ford... you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.” HHGTTG
Farce of a watch.
No. They make plenty of excellent watches.
Amusing to see people getting their knickers in a knot over one model.
Just look at the bracelet / case interface. Awful!!

Liking the blue one! If only they redesigned the hev….!
When they sell it, and they will sell it they'll make a lot more money than selling many bog standard models.
Rolex have always done this and Omega like to follow them.
Cheers,
Neil.
The strap isn't to my taste - I think something thicker is necessary. The face could be OK in the right surroundings. But that bezel - gonnae no do that Omega
Whilst it is not me, I am all for people who want a shedload of jewels instread of a bezel. Go ahead, knock yourselves out.
But this surely misses the point of all that showy ostentation.
The whole thing about blinging a Rolex is that you take the best, and then "improve" it with jewels.
You don't start with something further down the pecking order, it ignores the point of starting at the top.
Is a Seamaster the best dive watch candidate for this?
No, not even close.
If Omega were to do this properly, they would start with the Ploprof.
And even then, everyone would do it with a Rolex instead.
Yes, in a nutshell.
I just don't get it, it's a Seamaster. Why they've pimped it up to look like a completely different model is beyond me. The bezel is now useless but I bet it turns really smoothly, why ! And why does the dial resemble the camouflage car manufacturers use to confuse the eye ?
It's a f**king mess, a watch that didn't require making and deserves to sell less than zero.
'this 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M in Canopus Gold™ has a dial made from natural grey silicon. A nod to the sands of 007’s Caribbean hideaway.'
Ok then...
I think there is market for all this watches with expensive precious stones, why loose that opportunity to sale it It si market?
By the way, I like the watch!

Dial ... blah-blah, jewelled bezel ... blah-blah, Helium-wart ... blah-blah, bracelet ... blah-blah . . .
And yet no-one's complaining about the godawfulugly handset all these have, nor the dreadful gripless bezel?
Yeesh, back in the day moaning used to mean something...
