Average price for a pint of milk in Sept 2014 was 46p
This September it was 62p, a 35% increase.
Sh*t is just more expensive nowadays.

They've been around that price for a while now and it has started to put me off. However I took the plunge a few weeks ago on an oyster for my SPB077J and found it was the quality rather than the price that I didn't like. Links were tinny, overall feel was cheap and the clasp was locked closed.
I bought a strap code jubilee for my Turtle back in 2015, 」50 from Amazon. Looks like I'd have to go US this time, $78 + shipping + 20% + FX hit.
You could always reach out to the Strapcode UK Amazon seller (I used them in 2015) and see if they could source you one for less?

P.S. Careful OP, or you'll be accused of speed posting !
They are already selling it on Amazon:

It's 」88.03!
What is speed posting?
Strap Code makes really nice stuff. I think the value depends on the watch you're putting it on, and how happy/satisfied you are with the combo.
I priced one up recently for my MM300 and with import costs and the exchange rate it didnt make any sense but fortunately my WTB eventually yielded exactly what I wanted and I have also bought from Ebay in the recent past for the same reasons. No issues with quality on the models that I have acquired, all very solid and well put together but in summary, at retail they are too expensive.
