Enjoying a small glass of Palm from the perfect draft machine as I contemplate what I’m going to cook for lunch.
I've these 3 to look forward to over the weekend in the Vic . . .
Meanwhile, Lidl's finest will suffice in my garret . . .

Quick post dog walk pint of Brakspear Oxford Gold (+ Frazzles) at the local…

Some genius has opened a summer pop-up bar in the local country park.

Thameside Brewery Helles Bells Lager.
Lovely stuff on a sunny evening by the Thames.

Can't describe how drinkable this is. The Boy's cricket match is the perfect excuse to carry on where I left off on Sunday.
Here's to Tom (pacifichrono) and hoping things go well for him . . .

On the left overs from the back of the cupboard, couple of Sols and a ..Boddingtons
This black IPA from Black Sheep is superb . . .

My lad gave me this on my 65th a few weeks ago. Not something I'd have bought myself, even though I do like the standard Old Tom. However it's got a pleasant gingery warmth to it, not at all overbearing, and I'd certainly have it again.

Catching up with a bit of admin (and the forum) after a few night/afternoon shifts, a nice cold San Mig. is going down nicely.
This since we arrived!

Takes me back to the 1970s drinking half and half (Exhibition+IPA) in the Scottish and Newcastle pubs. I perchance have a bottle each of Old Crafty Hen and Old Golden Hen in the cupboard, should have kept the Old Speckled and made a Hen Night of it ! ;-) I've yet to see Old Hoppy Hen on the shelves locally.

Quick refresher in Dam Square
Managed to pop in to The Reveller (Romiley) after a pleasant stroll late this afternoon and picked up a selection of interesting lagers and helles. Didn't get chance to partake this evening but tomorrow I think I will have to tuck in!
A couple from today.
Loaded this in last night for this evening

Something a little different and a little strange. Wouldn’t drink a lot of it but one or two are actually really rather pleasant. Perfect for being away in the motorhome

Heineken experience done
Now moving on to a Velvet Desire by Two Chefs Brewing , raspberry & lime sour @ 7.1%
Last nights selection…
The White Hag Atlantean was dodgy. Very gassy and not at all as nice as when I’d had it before. God knows what Beer52 do with their stock but I won’t be using them after I run down remaining £18 credit.
Vocation L&D was predictably lovely. They just make bloody good beer in Hebden Bridge.
The DEYA Bretted Pils was good but not great. It could’ve done with being colder (despite coming straight out the fridge), probably would’ve been better with a cheese plate.
Thornbridge, ever reliable, have been doing a lot of single hop beers in the Quiet Storm range. Talus divides opinion (avoid if you don’t like coconut flavours), but I liked this. I prefer hazy with a bit more body for that hop though.
Just the one mind.
Busy day tomorrow.. ;D

Called at Granville’s to try the collab they’ve done with Ossett brewery, Open All Hours , juicy hazy pale ale , very nice. Noticed they have Harrogate Brewing Plum Porter on which I prefer to Titanic’s one , though I do like that too!
