83 reissue on its way to me, hopefully on my wrist on Monday!
Apologies, Tapatalk screenshot (won't let me download a decent size) photo but will post something better when it arrives...

They're great watches, I picked one up on sales corner a few years back and its had loads of wrist time.
Unexpected call from local AD - this is lovely

@ryanb741 really like the titanium G Shock. I've been tempted by that model too.
Finally sized my SBGP017

Paid a premium over a cheaper Chrono24 version for peace of mind. Decent 15% discount at Goldsmiths but they rolled over straight away so should have probably gone in harder.

After falling in love back in march (when I took this pic), I had an unexpected but pleasant call from the AD today! #excited!

This arrived yesterday...I like this mix coming from different brands and watches.
Wanted to try something gold after being so unsure if I could pull it off. Seiko to the rescue again.
Into the AD first thing after getting the call yesterday. Fully blown away by the Z Blue. Needed something dressier and it hits the spot so well for me.

That ginault is really interesting. Might be worth some research, looks really cool.
I really like the look of this. It’s the 9 karat gold and mixed with bronze version isn’t it ?

It is way nicer than my terrible pics show and is 50% gold, something like 38% Bronze and then Palladium and some other metals that mean it doesn't tarnish. I really like the colour and whilst it costs a lot more than a pure bronze watch it also costs less than an 18kt gold watch so works well for me
Thanks. I’ve owned the baby Speedbird and Dreadnaught and this wears the same as those. I must say it feels rather classy in its understatedness. Only thing I’m unsure of are the PCLs. I always intended brushing them on arrival but remembered one of the SMP range has flat links with brushed and polished faces so I’ll give it a few days.
An impulse purchase, always liked the PRX but never loved it until I saw this green one today. Had to be bought, it's very nice indeed.
I don't think it is COSC certified, they carrie out their own regulation and testing over 6 weeks.
Watch in general is a great quality and wears well...I can imagine that similar to 6 digit Rolex sports in same size, but case isn't bulky...more like 124060, which I have seen only from pictures. I used to own 116710, but it's gone and can't compare side by side. Next to 16622 Yachtmaster it looks visually smaller, but it is probably about dark vs platinum dial and bezel.
Writings on the dial are not so prominent as appears on pictures and IMO it is not so shiny as one may expect from sapphire bezel. I like size of the crown in general, but it may be a bit too tall for some people...may dig into wrist. Also bezel marking may not be perfect match to indices on dial, but there is slight distortion due to sapphire...so hard to tell exactly. Too new to comment timekeeping.
In general really solid piece and despite a lot of elements copied from other watches not a direct copy any of them.
Some pics showing the true colour of the bronze gold
It will be less easy to scratch than solid 18ct gold yes
Not a bad day in London yesterday, Blue Pelagos for me and Bronze Blackbay for my mate .

Yo - I recommend Matteo for a customs strap mate.
