Ha, I was asked to write a mini blurb about this last night so gave 2 options.
The second was: Richard Mille releases its ugliest watch yet and slaps a Ferrari logo on it in what can only be described as refusal to take full responsibility for this s***.

I thought it was a joke. At $1.75mil and not limited edition (well - are 150 buyers really going to snap it up??) it's outrageous.

Will be interesting to see how strong it is too - the principle reason the other mega thin watches are concept only, or incredibly limited edition, is that they bend too easily.

You sound surprised! It’s a Richard Mille, of course it looks horrible. That’s what owners pay for!!

I don't find it very pleasing aesthetically either but is that really the point? This is an amazing achievement. Whether it looks good with a blazer is neither here nor there.

At that thickness, even the most cursory of impacts or stresses will bend and/or break it.

An exercise in unwearable futility, and yet, here we are, doing their PR work for them - so it's served its only real purpose already!

For those that can afford them, they will be briefly the star of their brag-fodder - and then Piaget or Bvlgari will do something an iota thinner and it'll be forgotten forever...

I quite like it, it's very impressive. Just wish you could see more of the innards, but I suppose that's an issue with something so thin.

The watch face is also tiny tiny!

Hideous price tag aside, I can appreciate the engineering and don’t think it looks too bad.

It is not going to win a beauty pageant but certainly impressive technology.
Quite amusing to see comments about RM.

Think I'd rather have this, a massive 0.25mm thicker

Now I have another pointless grail to look for, get, wear once and then try to sell it to some one else, While trying to explain why it should be bought.

I’d rather have the Bulgari at a positively porcine 1.8mm
