Was quite good until Angela Ripon and William Woolard were replaced!!
Looking forward to it !
Same 3 presenters?
Look forward to it, Flintoff is excellent.
There's an interview/advertorial with Paddy McGuiness and Fred Flintoff on “Headliners” this week:

Host Nihal Arthanayake adopts a matey tone.
Well, that's an hour of my life I'll not get back
I think the top gear haters yearn for a different show these days.
I loathed the Evans show, and wasn’t really bothered about the show with LeBlanc, but now I see top gear differently because I get my car review fix from YouTube on demand, and this is just popcorn and I’m fine with that.
That was brilliant tonight, loved it but then I love Florida and have done a few fly drives in the past, myself and a mate had a convertible in the late 90's and driving down the Keys was something else - take me back!!
Be better renaming it 3 lads having a free holiday to mess about, isn’t it a bit like that other Flintoff show but with cars, I’ll probably record future shows so I can f/f through it looking for something about cars and doesn’t include Paddy.
It seems it stopped being a car show about, oh, 20 years ago.
I watched last nights, I laughed a few times and I rolled my eyes in exasperation a few times.
It's certainly not 'must watch' TV anymore, but it has its humorous moments and there seems (unless their great actors) to be decent chemistry between the 3 of them that was absent in LeBlanc's day.
I laughed a lot more watching Hypothetical on Dave, though, and I bet that has a budget that doesn't cover McGinty's elocution lessons!

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
I thought that episode had a half decent car content.
'Against stupidity, the gods themselves struggle in vain' - Schiller.
I find iPlayer makes it watchable as I can ff past the giggling and childish pranking. I liked the 'Donks'.
Bit better tonight quite an enjoyable watch
Fun to watch with a 8 and 11 year old!

As a side note the segment without Macguiness was good. Competent, not too laddish and with a distinct whiff of Top Gear of old…

If the footage of Freddie going down the toboggan run was genuine……then hats off , he has big cahunas to do that.
Visited the Beaulieu motor museum a few weeks ago and spotted a Sinclair C5 with a weird metal frame bolted to it parked discreetly outside the back door. Makes sense now, after watching the latest episode. It'll be joining the other Top Gear cars on display there no doubt
I'm there at the weekend for the Hot Rods, so I'll keep an eye out for this! Thanks :)
As for this episode... good entertainment as always, but it's like a very high-budget and well filmed college project. The scripting and structure of some of the sections didn't feel particularly intelligent or well considered, but the execution and sheer entertainment factor lets them get away with it. In reality, there was just two individual things happening, rather than the previous format which had a lot more going on in smaller sections including, amazingly, car reviews.
Wankers driving expensive cars and doing other stuff that’s obviously great fun for them and of zero interest to me.
Had to be said and there I’ve said it, sorry (not really) to all the nut huggers out there.

It clearly isn’t in the same league as LJK Setright but if you go into it without those lofty expectations, it’s quite good fun, IMO of course.
