/\/\/\/\ Nice contrast in colours, great watch too
This one has been on the wrist for the last couple of weeks.
I know Seiko ripped us SPB199J1 buyers off with the "limited edition" tag, but, it does look great.
Second attempt
Ice tea in the sun today

Not strictly mine - bought for my 13yr old Son a year or more ago, but just changed the bezel for a YM style one.
I think it looks excellent!

My most recent Seiko’s to my small collection.
Presage (SPB091J1) with lovely hand-applied enamel dial
After looking at today's Friday thread my mind has turned to a Tuna again. I once had an SBN0015 but at the time for some reason, it didn't feel right on the wrist. Worst of all the seconds hand was way off, so it was sold.
I spent some time on eBay to see what sort of prices Tunas attract and saw this "beauty."
There's wabi and there's distressed. Then there's relumed and then there's filled in with window putty. Yours for £899!
After a tad more perusing, I decided that I didn't actually need a Tuna. I have an Arnie reissue which does me very nicely. As a compromise, I've ordered a brushed SS shroud, which look rather good. This is coming from Stitches And Buckles in Singapore should be here next week. :) Here's a shot of one fitted.

Saw an ‘Arnie’ in a shop window today, I was underwhelmed which is a shame as it was on my radar
I had a Darth Tuna which I sold for something else, and I honestly miss it very much. There’s something about the 1000m Tunas which (having taken my time to try one) I thoroughly enjoy.
I have the green “Safari” Arnie reissue and I love it, and the steel shroud from Gio in Singapore is a great product. It fits well and after I got it Cerakoted it really works well with the colour of the dial and inner case.
Seen here with its cousins - still have (and love) the Golgo 13 L/E but I really must get back into the 1000m.
Thanks Preacher, his shrouds do seem to be well regarded, and I really like the look of your collection.
Since posting I've ordered a Strapcode Hexad to provide the full metal look.
The only thing I don't like about the Arnie is syncing the seconds by turning the main crown. I'm used to G-Shocks and a button push.
Wearing my SKX031 Seiko Submariner today - such a great dial.

2009-2011, legendary watch already imho
My 6159
Another absolute classic. The Jumbo. Even after 50 years it looks superb. What a design.

This arrived today, and I like it a lot! It just needs a better bracelet and we’re good to go.
Does anyone have recommendations for good oyster or president bracelets that fit the SRPE series well? Considering an Uncle Seiko, but they seem to be sold out on the UK site. They look so good that I may brave the import duties…
Part 1 of the "Make my Arnie metal" has taken place. The stainless steel shroud from StitchesAndBuckles based in Singapore, arrived TWO days after ordering! Well done to FedEx and StitchesAndBuckles.
The shroud itself is high quality and fits perfectly, it will take some getting used to the weight differential but so far, I'm very happy with the change.
That looks great - the weight does change but I’ve found it easy enough to get used to.
And part 2 - again after a fantastically quick delivery from Strapcode and FedEx. It took me a little while to fit and resize it, as I'm not used to quick release springbars. DOH!
It's now a perfect fit and as you say I'll get used to it, I'd say it's on a par with my MM300.
Here's some shots on the balcony of joy.
I was also looking and found these oyster and jubilee bracelets https://www.namokimods.com/en-gb/col.../show-all-srpe
I rather foolishly sold my SRPE and never got round to trying one, so obviously can’t comment on the quality. But they’re reasonably priced and they claim all UK import taxes/VAT are included.
The blue MM300 dial looks great in the sun:) Lovely day.

That's a beauty Stilgoe, did you add the bracelet?
I thought I recognized the style. Cheers, looks great
I'm in the process of moving my watches to a more humble level and to that end here is a piece that I'm finding very enduring, with a list price around 1/40th of my most expensive watch, which has just been sold with more to follow. This little Seiko could end up being my 2nd/3rd most expensive piece once the clear out has been completed.
Has a pretty good quality feel, a distinctive look and offers great value IMO - and has a snappy name...

One of my 7C43's from 1986. The sad thing is, I've only worn this particular watch once as it's NOS.
