People think I'm odd for having corned beef on pizza.
I don't have any really odd ones, but I was brought up with cheese-and-tomato-ketchup sandwiches, and therefore this is completely normal to me, yet people always comment how odd it seems to them, which I cant comprehend as to me it's the only way to have a cheese sandwich!
Do you have any foody quirks?

I like marmite and honey on toast.
How about chocolate spread all over.. Hang on
Peanut Butter, Banana and Silverskin pickled onion sandwiches.
I discoverd this combination as a teenager. I actually haven't had one in while, but might just have to buy some pickled onions now.
Corned beef, cheese & brown sauce sandwiches, bloody lovely.
Big fan of the cheddar, pickled onion and salad cream sandwich with additional walkers crisps if i'm feeling gregarious. Roast chicken and ketchup gets an honourable mention too.
A home-made giant Yorkshire pudding with curry

Might sound odd but banana and bacon is a great combo. I do banana pancakes (mix eggs with ripe banana) and bacon as a typical weekend brekkie.
Always like crackers with cucumber.
I also know that southerners don't have gravy on their chips.
Oh, I just remembered another from my childhood - using celery sticks like a spoon to spoon out peanut butter from the jar, and eat! The celery makes it a salad, so it's healthy ;-p
Dark chocolate and Dutch "old" cheese for me.
Rose's lime marmalade on morning coffee biscuits.
Pease Pudding sandwiches.
"Bite my shiny metal ass."

Slice of Christmas pudding, fried in a pan in butter and then drizzled with Stroh overproof rum. Serve with crumbled extra mature (you know, the kind that's actual crystalline and crunchy). My dad always used to make this at Christmas and I still do. Everyone thinks it's bonkers until they try a forkful.
You do have to pull your arteries through with a fir tree afterwards though....
Tayto cheese and onion crisp sandwiches with tomato sauce.
Pure beaut!
My brother used to like Banana & Beetroot sandwiches.
When I was a kid we would have salad cream sandwhiches or as a treat banana sarnys.
A friend of mine moved from his home town of St Petersburg to Manchester and fell in love with chips and gravy. I will never forget the first time we took him to a chippy in London (after a skinful) and his horror that this option did not feature anywhere on the menu - he actually had an argument with the poor chap behind the counter.
Bumping this after a long time, as I have just had marmite, strong cheese spread and fried egg on toast.
What a combo!
Grilled banana and peanut butter on toast
Risotto, mushroom/ham/whatever but a layer of grated cheese on top browned under the grill.
Yesterday I tried roast beef with all the trimmings and…
Mango chutney.
I put it on my plate by mistake but it worked.
I would try it again.
Cheddar on a choccy biscuit - preferably on a plain chocolate digestive
Peanut butter and Cucumber sandwiches , a friend described them as the yin and yang of butties
Crumpets with blue cheese and banana for breakfast
Crispy bacon, marmalade and Stilton sandwich.

Roasted peppers with a roast dinner.

Bacon
Smoked salmon
Cream cheese
Mango chutney
It just works :-)
Packet of ready salted Hula Hoops in a bowl of Tomato soup.
Fantastic.
My wife always offers me Christmas Cake....
with a slice of cheese (Eg chedder)
Its a Yorkshire thing apparently.
I never accept. Christmas lunch, then some Christmas cake (flaming brandy obvs) , then maybe some cheese later on with a pint.
But not all on the same fork!
Nowt wrong with a slice of cheese with your Christmas cake, Wensleydale preferably!
Mature cheddar and mango chutney sarnies .. excellent !

I'm having potato, haggis and turnip this evening. I make a hollow volcano shape with the turnip and fill it with Chinese curry sauce. Delicious. lol
Home Bargains do some in various 'heat' ratings chinese curry powder.
I just also remembered a sandwich I used to make:
Brown seeded bread, chopped onion, cheeese-cream or spread, mayo, peanut butter-crunchy. In fact if my dinner wasn't due in an hour or so I'd have one now, yum yum.
