I have a sock that I've been very fond of since I was a teenager.
I was talking with a friend earlier today while dog walking, I was wearing my Belstaff cardigan which he mentioned, I said its a favorite of mine I then realized that two of my favorite items of clothing the other being a Barbour quilted jacket were both used items bought from TZ :)
I have a few Barbours I bought new but I really took to the one from TZ.

Don't just do something, sit there. - TNH
Jeans with a bit of stretch in them :relax:
Undercrackers that don’t give me a wedgie. Priceless.
My favourite item of clothing are lounge pants (basically pyjama trousers but often get sold as lounge pants?) which I put on towards the end of the day (to lounge in) as they’re so much more comfortable than the jeans/trousers etc I’ve been wearing during the day.

Right now without doubt the esparto hat Mrs P just wove me.
I am the same but also take my watch off.
For working from home I have cargo trousers from M&S which are really comfortable, almost as comfortable as wearing jimjams
I purchased a Fjallraven Vidda Pro jacket after reading a thread here about waterproof jackets. It’s a great jacket and when buttoned/zipped up it’s surprisingly warm.
And of course, my Redwing chukka boots.
Most clothes from my old clothes draw, anything with oil stains, paint, caulk, just makes me feel comfortable!!
Just spent a fortune on some M&S draw string trousers @ £22 a pair... very stretchy and comfortable😁 I do like my hoody too from Crew Clothing Co. My Barbour flat caps often worn pending the odd shower.👍
Lounge pants and a north face zip hoodie working from home 4 days a week for the last 2 years.
Will be moving to non elastic waist as I’ve pilled on the pounds with no restriction and need to shame myself to losing it from next week.

Belstaff 90th anniversary jacket. Waxed cotton but has faded and worn to a lovely sheen. I’ve had two people independently come up and compliment me on it. It looks scruffy as f*** but I love it.
Belstaff Dunstall. Got it in February and already
I’m looking for another…..
Rab down coats, I basically live in them for 6 months a year.

Nike air jump man Jordan shorts, Fjallraven t shirt and a Saltrock hoodie...bliss after wearing work basics for a 12hr shift.
Perhaps patinated waxed cotton is a `look` some folk appreciate..
Your Belstaff sounds like the old Barbour Bushman i had.
I had this jacket about 15+ years and after hundreds of extended dog walks etc it certainly had `patina`; that all-over `sheen` you talk of, faded areas, wear/rub holes in the arms and lining etc, although all the zips & poppers worked fine. It certainly looked well lived-in....
It always was a bit big on me and after losing quite a few Kg`s i decided to try my luck and sell it knowing how popular they are and got more for this knackered example than i paid for its unworn as-new replacement Bushman (yes, it was genuine!) in a more suitable size - some people will buy anything on ebay!
Trainers, trainers and more trainers. New Balance Made in England especially.
I’m not sure of the characteristics of a hipster but going by the photo, I’m far from it. I’m not cool enough for starters.
I do have a Barbour Bedale wax jacket (that is well worn with holes) but unfortunately no MX5. I wouldn’t qualify as a TZ hipster either 😁
Ps I will add my M&S slippers to the list and Mountain Equipment fleece jacket.
I spend way too much on hoodies, but they are my favourite items to wear. I have an insane amount, some just sit unworn in my wardrobe.
My favourite one is Balenciaga Political in Lilac.
I do like my fleeces too, the one piece smock types with short zip you pull over, even better when they are thick pile with a hood and front pocket.
Best get a few more in the summer sales for the coming Autumn/Winter as gas looks like a luxury product now..
I have a pair of black leather converse all stars (as per i-Robot) which still look great and very attached to them.
My Barbour black Steve McQueen from around 2011/2012 ish when they first came out.
Its faded to charcoal grey, and has so many nicks and wear spots/frayed cuffs etc as its been so worn.
I keep meaning to get it re-waxed but never get round to it.
As far as other favourites go, Levis, hoodies and lanvin sneakers is all I really wear.
Substitute the hoodie for a long sleeved T in summer and thats it.
It would be this.
82 years old and still wearable (with a bit of care)
The hide needs a bit of nourishment, will sort that this weekend.
This Nigel Cabourn/Umbro rugby shirt.
I live in jeans so it has to be my Hiut selvedge Hacks

My drysuit?
Someone on a forum once accused.me of 'having given up on myself' because I didn't wear £400 brogues, so it may not surprise people to hear I just wear clothes, I don't have favourites.
I was quite fond of the Craghoppers jacket I have, but the pocket has come adrift and it was getting.very.tatty, so it's relegated to garden use now

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
An old leather jacket with pretend racing patches on. It's a cracking bit of kit and it was a gift from a customer who had shrunk out of it after losing 6 stone. Comfy, warm and looks the biz.
My current favourite shirt is an Adidas one bought on a very misguided whim in the sale (I do that a LOT). It's loud enough to be heard in neighbouring towns and my wife refuses to be seen out with me in it. On the plus side she's bought me quite a few nice tops this year to try and ween me off it.
Link below if you dare.

I also bought some Adidas "superstar" shell-toes which I hated the colour of but they were cheap, so why not. Comfiest kicks I've ever had, absolutely love them now.
Those were a TK Maxx pick-up. I've been on a right bargain blitz this year

My old RL polo shirt, first thing I bought after my separation (was never allowed to buy expensive clothes), originally navy blue but now well faded after 28 years. Still fits too.

Shouldn't the answer be lingerie?
At risk of appearing an old man, my Geisswein slippers - bought on the strength of a G&D thread discussing this very important topic :party animal:
I’m a sucker for a jacket - my favourite j couldn’t possibly choose

RAB Gillet bought off here, perfect for our climate.
I never get attached to tops, wear them a few times then sell on and replace.
Jackets however - have a 6876 jacket I bought when I was 15 (13 years ago) that still fits and looks good. I’d probably say that.
Hilfiger used to do a fit of jeans which were absolutely perfect for my shape. Had 5 pairs but they stopeped that fit and have struggled since, though GAP standard fit are about right when they're available.
I have a couple of crombie overcoats which I m very fond of and now summers here my Italian knit fascination is back in full swing

A wax cotton gilet which looks somewhat 'lived in' and a leather version which is slightly more presentable.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
