That is epic! When you're bored I might be lobbying you for this!

Cheers, I think I should have done it sooner.

I guess 2/3 years since I first told my AD that I loved the watch at its launch at Baselworld 2019. Mind you, I have a list of models that he has me down for… my ‘reward’ tends to be one per year.

Lovely. If I had the wrists to carry it off, I absolutely would.

I think it's the off-white silver opaline dial and slim dimensions that makes it so wearable. Good luck - hope you receive it in good time.

Excellent. Hope you enjoy the SD43. If someone doesn’t like the SD43, I take it personally:-)
Excellent pic,BTW. I wasn’t proactive when the FXD came out but am hankering for one now. Hopefully can find one at sensible price.

After a year on the waitlist, got the call. Have to say was worth the wait. This could be my end game watch. Totally love it.

Interestingly though, the AD mention that production was moved outside Rolex?? And that he expects to see a lot more come through now.

Infinitely more comfortable imo. The DSSD is a fabulous lump but the 43 is a better all-rounder.

Agreed, I found the DSSD a bit too top heavy when I tried it on (admittedly this was the older model where the bracelet I think is narrower compared to the newer one), so delighted I went with the SD43.

A very special 7C43. I'm happy. I've had it for a few weeks but I took some new photo's today after I fitted a new crystal. I then noticed that the date was wrong. Oh well.

I was offered black or white and went with the white. Not sure it’s a keeper yet, but very comfy, good size, low weight, very easy to use crown and pushers.

Can I live with the delay distinguishing the hands from the dial.. I think so.

I think it will be moving onto a black NATO.

    First Nato purchase

After my other thread, on bezel issues on my vintage Seiko Arnie, decided as this has been my cycling & running watch recently, that the stock Z22 flat vent Seiko strap needing changing.

Being someone who likes OEM stuff, found a black Seiko Nato (with Seiko signed buckle - for the Seiko 5 mind you). Once I got the bezel back on and turning (still awkward but think that's the design on these). Plopped the Nato on.

Definitely a better look IMHO and feel for the watch, especially for what I'll be using it for.

May take some time getting used to the buckle being further around the wrist mind you.

The zuludiver 284 is a great replacement if you want it back on rubber.

Super happy to be getting this before my holiday. Was iffy about the size as I am used to 34-36mm vintage dress watches. I think the size gives it a modern twist.

Thank you, they are quite interesting watches as they were the first waterproof/resistant watches that Citizen produced. It's a lovely little thing a d is keeping reasonable good time for a sixty year old.

Thanks Gareth. I was actually trying to get a calf strap for it. Will look around on the weekend. Being 21mm it’s a little annoying.

LOVE that Greg mate, LOVE that!!

To be honest the (most comfortable of any that I own) rubber strap on my AP Diver makes it that bit ‘something different’ to most of my watches being on bracelets, but seeing your pics has got me wondering!

Saw one of these in the window today, tried it on… loved the dial. Probably my favourite Save the Ocean dial… but the bubble over the day/date was misaligned (seems to be quite common on Monsters these days from what I can see).

They only had 1 in stock so I went to another Seiko dealer. They also had just 1. The bubble on this one seems a bit better (maybe not bang on, but within tolerance not to trigger my OCD)… so I had to have it. Only went out for Sun Screen lotion.
