About right I would say.
I have someone interested in my watch and I’m trying to establish a fair price as they are all over the place.
It’s a mk 4 dial and has sat in the safe unworn since the last service in 2011.
The watch comes with box and original papers dated 1984 also paperwork for 3 Rolex services ( 1992,1997 and 2011 )
The hands have been changed at a previous service which don’t match the dial so that needs to be factored into the price.
I removed the bracelet recently to wear on my 1680 and may want to keep the 93150 as it will save me the hassle of sourcing another one, I’d like to establish a price with and without it.
I’m thinking fair to both would be circa £17k
Less £1000 ish if I kept the bracelet.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

About right I would say.
Lovely, if the bracelet is original to the watch, it’s probably best staying on it.
Will make a difference if the papers are punched or handwritten if punched I’d say £23-25k without the bracelet is closer
Yes papers are punched.
I’d have thought £25k was too rich (would be nice tho!)
Hence my question regarding a fair price to both parties, prices seem to be all over the place for similar watches.
I'd definitely be selling it with the bracelet as it would keep it all original. Lovely looking 1665, I've never seen one with an almost top hat crystal, they have always been domed that I have seen. I'd definitely imagine its above £20k maybe upto about £23k.
That is a lovely fresh looking watch. Very nice.
I’d let the bracelet go with the watch if it’s original to it and source one for the 1680 , getting the hands matched to the watch is easy enough along with sourcing a true dome plexy ( super dome ) and it’s a different beast altogether .
I’d say £20k+ with ease and lovely looking watch you’ve got there .
I hope the people quoting high prices are correct as I have an all original one( sans papers) of these .
I wonder if those quoting the high prices would be willing to give that for it themselves.
The Great White's are fantastic practical watches but I've noticed they can be a bit slow to shift .
What a lovely watch that is - criminal to have swapped out those hands.
This is the problem I’m facing, too many prices floating around.
I think I’ve established that at £17k it will fly, £20k probably and £23k happy days.
Food for thought.
It’s the punched papers that add the value condition also counts but no papers on a 1665 you are looking around £14-£18k with everything being correct dial, bezel insert etc handwritten papers whether original to the watch or not don’t carry any weight and only value in at loose watch prices
So you are valuing papers over condition and originality ?.
That's not correct.
Correct punched papers I would say these days is about 20-25% uplift from a watch in the same state without papers.
However an untouched watch without papers would ,in my opinion, trump a watch with service parts and some polishing but had good set of papers.
The papers are a bonus on the watch not a starting point.
Also from earlier you say that 25K is nearer the mark but say 14-18K for an all correct one without papers is correct .
So you are valuing the one with papers but not all original at a minimum of 7K above an all original one without papers.

Hi I don’t make the rules and don’t mean to offend but just have a look around and you’ll see the hands and Crystal issue is about £1k to put right I’ve just bought a beat up t-39 superdome for my drsd for £250 a little poly watch and it’s perfect its also almost impossible to prove that a watch has never been touched for 40 plus years so unfortunately it may have been untouched in your ownership but prior who knows parts changed can be correct for the watch but as for them being on there when the watch was sold you cannot guarantee
The bracelet is original to the 1665, the clasp code dates it to 1981 and it makes sense to keep it with the watch.
Thanks for all the replies it’s appreciated.
Jason at Vintage usually carries a few sets of hands on his listings.

Would anyone happen to know what price the MK3 dialled DRSD with papers was listed at on ukvintagewatches.com?
