    I also bought this more than ten years ago, I think 2011. I use it as my beater, and I like it a lot.

    My father had a Seiko perpetual calendar watch which my son now wears (sometimes). It's a real faf to reset the calendar!

    I've never had to do it. The movement has a low battery indicator, and a capacitor which gives you around 10 minutes to do the battery change without having to reset the calendar.
