Looks good, but where is the second hand?

In a drawer! I can't decide if to put it on. It looks so clean... :mrgreen:Originally Posted by VinceR
Ok, I just cannot get on without a second hand - just love watching it sweep around the dial.Originally Posted by sabestian

All right, all right! Some people! :mrgreen:Originally Posted by VinceR
Wait till the evening, I'll post some new pictures with a little surprise sweeping around.
How about now? I'm loving it.
Got to agree......it looks better with the second hand on!
Nice dial swap BTW. Like it a lot!
Liking that one a lot... not sure about the rotation of the case with the crown at 11. Hands and dial are a winner though :D
That's 9.45! Can't you tell the time? What kind of watch lover are you? :DOriginally Posted by Jonmurgie
really really nice mod!!!
Hows the lume on that dial?
and do you know if that dial would fit a 6105 case?
I ruined my all original 6105-8110 when talking a bath in a hottub in egypt after walking in the desert for a week...
Cheers,
Gregor
The dial's lume is pretty much...poor (when compared to standard Monster's radioactive mega-glow).
No clue about fitting in other watches. Go check with 10watches.com.
Thanks! I will check it out!
cheers,
gregor
i agree better with second hand, if you are going to make a lefty i woud look better on the right wrist IMHO.

That's a great effort. Might have a bash at something similar myself this weeked. And I am in the no second hand camp. Have enough watches with a sweep... something a bit different would be good!
Very interesting! :-)
One of the better mods I have seen on this model...very nice indeed - don't put the second hand back on.

Yes I like it very much, perhaps with an orange/red minute hand and a second hand IMO. Can you not increase the lume?
That dial and especially the hands are lovely. I prefer a watch with seconds hand too, though not sure about that particular one personally.

My dial maker had a mix up they set my 7s26 dials for the 7002 fitting well it was good luck
Now I can put 7s26 movements in the 7002 cases, a nice upgrade since the 7002's movements are not the best Seiko has come out with ...
