My Kurono Toki has at last arrived. Just need to identify a decent strap for it. Here has helped. https://delugs.com/blogs/delugs-look...%E9%B7%BA-toki

Guess what me too! OEM strap is a bit short and not much to write home about and so I will be joining the hunt for a nice new strap
Incoming - can't wait for it to arrive!
This has just this minute landed...oops! Having tried on a mate's B01 chrono back at the start of summer I've thought about getting one but the price was the sticking point. Then I spotted this..(3 watches sold and 5 new this year; ouch!) I can see why my mate's is 46mm...so you see the slide rule with older eyes!
Many thanks to Sean (seabiscuit) for the deal.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of these new watches at the vGTG Christmas edition this Thursday!
Managed to get a now discontinued Moonwatch 1861 calibre from Goldsmiths and collected it yesterday. This is my third Speedmaster, with two FOIS along the way. Anyhow, this one is destined to be a keeper. Gained exactly a second in the last 24 hours. There’s a seductive charm to the Speedmaster, perhaps it’s a bit of a slow burner, but it has worked its magic upon me. And it should be joined by another Speedmaster tomorrow.
New arrival from France, very pleased with it so far!

What do you think of the speedtimer Ryan ?
The white dial is very flat compared to the black dial - did you get to
try on both ?
cheers

Hi Matt
Tried on both. Both lovely but I preferred the handset on the white and also the contrast of the white dial with the black rehaut. It is also a bit more vibrant in the metal vs the pics (typical Seiko terrible marketing pics!). Fit and finish is nice (although pin links at just under £3k RRP is naughty). A heavy watch although does not wear that big due to the way the lugs shape down. I love the chunky thickness of the case as well.
I managed to get a decent discount (just under 30%) which for a ltd edition made it a worthwhile buy for me. The huge pushers are a joy to use. It is indeed like using a stopwatch and this watch is inspired by a Seiko stopwatch from the 60s.
Picked up this great vintage Squale from SC a couple of weeks ago - have just fitted the bracelet & started wearing it.
Great to have an IWC Pilot back in the collection.

We’ll done. I hope you got the sports watch variant.
Just picked up this 53 year old Super Compressor with a lovely domed acrylic crystal. It's 36mm but like all of this style with an internal bezel, it wears bigger, more like a 38mm.
That Super Compressor is pretty cool.
Picked this up last week, and it's not been off my wrist since. And 22mm straps, which means it's pretty versatile.
Wrong time of year for a white G-Shock but oh well.
IWC looking pretty popular on the forum over the last couple of days, including me!
Went for the Pilot Spitfire Bronze with the olive dial, proportions are excellent at 41mm and this has the in-house 69380 Chrono movement with 46 hour power reserve, I’m really happy with it as an interim birthday present waiting for the timeframe on my selection for big 4-0

This arrived with my friend in the US yesterday, looking forward to recieving it myself. I had an auto version a few years ago, but regretted selling it despite how tall the case is. I hope the slightly reduced thickness of the manual wind option will make it slightly more wearable!
Collected from Will last night.
The B&R I should have waited for instead of getting distracted by the Golden Heritage version
