Thought I’d post one more of RG with his lovely Air King. Since signing for Tag, it probably won’t get a look in now.

I was watching RR in ATPM last night and looking out for his Sub, which was on a bracelet with some shonky looking endlinks. Great film.

It looks similar to a Timex Southampton lever or slide-button chronograph from the late 50s.

I do not think it is the Timex, but that it just looks similar.

There are better images on Watchuseek:

    https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/c...rabia.5245057/

    Like this:

The Timex Southampton has an unusual slider button above the crown, and this watch appears to have a sliding button on the case opposite of the crown.

But again, I am just guessing. Maybe someone with BMW expertise has better ideas?

Well done I hadn’t spotted that, how intriguing I wonder what it could have been? I guess it wasn’t worn in the film being a post WW1 watch then?

A stylish and entertaining series, with some slick watch-wearing, too, imho.

I don't care what he's wearing. A pork pie maker gets my vote!

That’s not a pork pie though.

It sounds tasty but a pork pie it is not.
