Ah nice. Will keep an eye out then, would look great on the regular Everest, cheers mate.

I think it may wear a bit small/vintage and that may be out of place for someone my age (early 30s). This is my first experience with a jubilee bracelet as well. It's quite comfortable but definitely top heavy when it's not on the wrist.

Have you tried a smiths 36mm already? Or is it your first? I like the flimsy (not in a bad way) jubilee feel and have an uncle seiko jubilee that’s one of my most comfortable bracelets. Dial looks great

No not seen that - is that a TimeFactors jubilee or something else?

    Silver Jubilee Everest

Yes it’s the jubilee used on the Limited Aventurine. Was posted by @joey_c00l on Instagram. He’s been taking photos for timefactors.

You could well be right, however I don't think the obverse would be true: an Everest 'rivet' bracelet wouldn't look right on the Silver Jubilee IMO.

I’m waiting for someone to try it. I actually imagine it to look good in my head anyway hahaha. I can see it giving it a more sporty look.

    Yebbut,
'Silver Rivet Everest' doesn't have such a ring to it...

I have a secondhand (third hand?) 40mm Everest which I like just fine. I don’t own any other 36mm. Smallest I usually go is 38mm.

Ah right, 36 is maybe my favourite size. 39 feels good too. Anything much bigger just feels too large but lug to lug and thickness needs to be taken into account. But my wrists are on the smaller end.

Lol… here is the jubilee on an oyster …I went ahead and did a mock up using two of the product shots from the website. I think it looks great, as expected. Gives it a sportier look. And for anyone who feels the jubilee doesn’t have enough heft to it then maybe an Oyster would be an option…

Took me awhile to warm to 36, but now I find anything larger unnecessary and cumbersome. I PM'd you about your watch, too.

I'm going to be on a plane on Sunday when the shop opens :-(

Will try with the in-flight wifi but in reality I have to hope that there are some left for the following time that the shop opens.

There will be I am sure, even if 200 were to sell with each opening it would take 3 openings for them to sell out as there are 500 and Eddie limits the window to 200 orders. So I imagine you have 3 more chances, possibly 2.

I had the same this week and last week, frantic F5 and clicking where it should be and it loaded.

  29. #279
    Gutted… again.

Took a break from sons birthday with both wife and I ready to go at 13:55

Got through to the final pay now screen, and then sold out. All forms prefilled and got to final screen in less than 45sec. I just don’t get how people can do it faster.

If anyone has managed to get more than one, would really appreciate a heads up.

Wow, that sold out fast, but I guess I deserve it for trying to order some straps at the same time. Maybe next time.

I’m so stoked to receive mine!

Can’t believe I managed to squeeze in the order within that short window.

It still seem likely that there'll be more Silver Jubilees in stock for next opening (at a guess).

I don’t think they’ve all sold out. There will be more on the next opening I am sure. That’ll most likely be the last chance though.

  35. #285
Well done to anyone that managed to grab one. I was checking out about 40 seconds after the shop opened and sold out again.

    But probably not many left.
Only way to be sure is to check the shop before next opening time.

I would imagine there might be some form of batching going on, i.e. a set number of a particular model being made available each time the shop opens.

You're correct, they are being released in batches, this week it was:

    50 Everest Silver Jubilee
    30 Navigator black
    20 Navigator white
    23 Monopusher black
    25 Monopusher white
    30 Commando sapphire
    20 Commando acrylic

There were other watches ordered as well, PRS-10, PRS-40, PRS-45, PRS-22, PRS-22GMT quartz and a couple of others which is why the site closed before all the recent "hot" watches sold out.

Excellent, thank you for that, Eddie.

It's interesting to see (from a satisfaction of curiosity perspective) what sort of batch sizes you chose.

    Silver Jubilee Everest

    This just in…

It’s hard to capture the beauty of the aventurine dial and how it sparkles when the light catches it.
The 36mm size hits the sweet spot for me and the overall fit and finish is excellent.
If you haven’t already managed to get one for yourself I’d certainly say it’s worth trying the next time the shop is open.
I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Eddie for sending me my lucky number - it’s great service in the middle of packing and sending out so many watches to their happy owners!
