And speaking of which - if I was to say that mine had a connection to Lancaster House would that help.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

    Guess where

The clue would be if you were lucky enough to be able to buy the Charles Frodsham wristwatch ( the famous double impulse), the buyer would have an option to attend here to witness the assay mark being applied.

Too late for me, I went for a virtual tour of Lancaster gate after your first clue.

Just done a loop around Cheyne Walk, Cleveland Row, Marlborough Road and The Mall and I didn't see anything that resembled a post box.

There are (and there were) other Lancaster Houses.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Thank you. It’s the ceiling of Goldsmith’s Hall. I did actually briefly look at the City livery companies but my emphasis (and search terms) was on the Guildhall. I suppose the amount of gold in that ceiling should have given it away.

Bingo. Free parking in Euston on the weekend and didn't want to pay congestion!

Took one second to find the location, another 20 seconds to find the matching linked picture.

PS: no EXIF data in the picture.

I went to Meeru island a number of years ago. It has completely ruined ‘beach holidays’ for me. Nothing will ever compare to the Maldives, probably the best holiday I’ve ever had and to top it off we were stranded there an extra week due to the Icelandic ash cloud!!!

    Memories

No, the wreck (Japanese vessel intentionally placed) is at Kuda Giri (South Male Atoll) We did that one during the trip.

Yes, us too, I just remembered there being a big hotel nearby and I didn't have my logs to hand when I posted :)

    Great diving there for sure.

I didn't realize other places had similar complexes, it just looked so archetypally Maldives that I assumed, possibly wrongly, that it couldn't be anywhere else :)

Not the usual angle from which one would view this building.

    An amazing construction project.
I watched an online lecture on it a few weeks back and it was mind blowing. I have worked on some very interesting buildings over my career, but that is on another level altogether.

That has a strong whiff of Broadgate Circle about it, but I cant find the building!
    Am I close?

EDIT: Its the other side of the building I thought it was - ie, the Bishopsgate elevation. 175 Bishopsgate, taken from the Natwest building opposite.

I am lucky to be involved with many fantastic projects but this one (or the small part I am involved with) will be special - the bit we are doing will be the cherry on top.

Spot on again. You are on a roll today.

Like you I have also been involved in some interesting projects and get to go behind the scenes on some interesting buildings too. Nothing quite like Battersea though.

In my new role I expect I'll be involved with a few more.

OK perhaps this might be a little more testing:

Bonus points for the name of the Bond film which was filmed here.

Well done. Did the bond reference give it away? Or did Google image search find it? I did take the image from a less usual location to try and fool the search engine. Oh well back to the drawing board.
